You know, this is exactly the feeling I got out of them too when we were prototyping, and the reason why these are such a great upgrade. Thank you for the awesome review, and I know you really had no reason to give us a good review because you had to wait SOOO long.

On hardware.

Because of the GREATLY increased load on the mounting points, I chose ISO ANSI ASTM certified hardware, in grade 12.9. This is almost the best I can get. This also means I cannot use a stainless fastener, because they do not make stainless fasteners that strong.

Going in, I knew we would have finish issues with the black oxide hex bolts, because they like to surface rust pretty quickly.

So, the UPDATE IS, I just cut a purchase order for a few thousand grade 12.9 fasteners, bolts, and lock washers, but they are going to be zinc coated black. As long as you don't scratch them, you should get years of rust free performance out of the fasteners, without compromising the strength, or thread thickness/fitment. Its also going to look sexy as hell having all black nuts and washers too.

These should arrive next week, and if anyone wants to upgrade to the new fasteners, I am going to put a link on the site for an inexpensive upgrade.

Also, since nico has been so good to us with these braces, I wanted to offer a few at a discounted rate.

So here is 5 sets of braces on sale for $39.98 + shippping!

Thanks,

Adam,

I was at the Post office this morning dropping off shipments from the weekend. I had them look up / look for your package, and they assured me it was NOT there at my local post office, but couldn't tell me anything more about why it is still missing...

This is why I have them scan everything in now, otherwise to the buyer it looks like I never shipped it at all...

As for the new bolts, should be a few weeks before I actually get them, and the upgrade process will be very easy.

John,

I will keep an eye open for them, but if they are not here by the weeks end and there is no updates by then, I consider the shipment MIA. What happens then?

Thanks,

I file a trace with USPS, get insurance $$ for the package back, and i take care of you 100%.

Also, I am going to track some other canadian shipments to see what the deal is. I have a canadian shipment that needs to go out today or tomorrow, so I will stay on top of it to see what is happening.

I could not be happier! Glad to hear your parts showed up today, like I said, their international tracking is a little funny sometimes, and I have to scan the stuff in at my drop off, or else it could have been delivered to you w/o ever getting a scan in.

Now install them and give me some feedback!

Hey,

Sorry if you have not gotten your product yet, we are moving slow on VSHT's but not that far back. I do not know who you are, so if you could email me, [email protected] I can take care of your individual situation.

Thanks!

John

So after raising the price $10, and running some sales, and testing pricing patterns, we have decided to reduce the price down to the regular $49.98 and still try to get them made locally.

If you go to the site, the price is now set back to the regular price.

They are simply a flat bar of metal with two holes in it. and replace the brackets that connect the subframe to the body. Apparently they work good, but this dudes customer service and business ethics seem really jacked up. I don't get why people keep buying them even tho you see people complaining about this guy not shipping, returning e-mails, or giving refunds.
