This is solely because I am only going to be using small local job shops from now on, so I can control production, and do not run into a situation like what just occurred.

John

I think I am almost all caught up.

Only orders I have not shipped today are international b/c they take longer, I have to fill out declarations and sign each one.

So international a little later this week. Pretty much got all of the US orders taken care of, and get them to the post office today b4 5pm with departure scans. You all should have tracking emails in your inbox, short international and some real recent orders from Jan20 on.

Yeah sorry about that. I wanted to get as much done today as I could before 5pm and get everything scanned in that way tracking is accurate and fast. If i just drop it at the post office sometimes they won't get it out until 3 - 7 days later, so I have to make sure I have all my stuff in before 5 then watch them scan it in.

International will get done later this week, and its the same story with that, if I don't get it scanned in, it might take longer to go out, or not confirm delivery through the process.

Yeah, after I make the next drop tomorrow morning @ the post office we are 100% caught up on subframe support braces.

Soo... if you did NOT get a tracking email, and feel you have been missed, PLEASE EMAIL ME ([email protected]) OR CALL! (949) 891 1710 and ask for john so I can look your order up and get you tracking or get your order shipped.

We are still behind on VSHT's but that is because they are made by hand, which should be changing in a month or two with any luck.

Thank you everyone for your support, I know the last few months have been bumpy on these parts, but it will not be like this ever again. I am cutting a purchase order for the next run at the end of this week, so we have overlapping inventories.

Thanks!

John

and adam, if you check your tracking, it should show it scanned in at the local post office, so 2-4 days and you will have your braces. I also think people received braces today, and more people will definitely tomorrow.

Not only do they look good, but they actually make a really noticeable difference with a very small amount of work and money. This is like the least expensive suspension upgrade you can feel, and grin for the S13.

What MGE is looking to prove, is the performance with all solid subframe bushings. I am really positive that there will be a noticeable improvement in performance, because these bars reduce lateral flex of the subframe, ie: driver side force pushing forward, and the passenger side force pushing backwords... or "twisting". This is what produces wheel hop in the S13 setup, and solid bushings really do not address the issue.

This issue is taken up thoroughly in the Mustang Cobra and Camaro crowds. The IRS rear ends of those vehicles are similar in theory to the 240sx but, not as good as owners regularly see the subframe permanently bending, or the differential case/cover cracking because of the force on the rear end. The solution in those communities is Subframe Support Bars.

Subframe Connectors - How To - 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords Magazine

So we took a page from the domestic scene, and tried different variations in the S13 chassis until we found the best cross between low cost, ease of install and high effective performance. That is why as you read on the site the part is so astoundingly reviewed, because it really is a weak link in the S13. In the S14 nissan went after this link by triangulating it and making a little beefier brace, but they are still just using steel.

The RPSport part really over kills the application, being 100 times stronger than the oem part. The oem a 10 year old could easily bend in half. If anyone sends me a video of them bending an RPSport brace by hand, I will gladly refund you your money, and send you another set.

If anyone shows me a bent RPSport Subframe Support Brace from track abuse, I will gladly exchange you another set, life time.

The best way to sum up the way this force acts on the subframe is better described in some MS paint pictures.

Hopefully that clears up the function, and how people understand the part working.

In short, your RPSport Subframe Support Braces will arrive QUICKLY to your house, and no matter what motor sport, or even regular driving activity, you will immediately notice a difference from the reduced rear flex on the subframe. What is better, is it is after one of the easiest installs of a part you may have ever done!

Great explanation! I just ordered a set. I can't wait to try them out and see how much it effects wheel hop.

That is really weird they are taking so long to get to you. You can see the scan in they did at my local post office.... I wonder if they are stuck in Canadian customs?

mine arrived this last weekend. i installed them this afternoon. i then took a joy ride and IMO they make quite a noticable difference for such a little aluminum bar. with a open differential, subframe collars, and stock tires wheel spin is more prevalent. its ok though, because the corner entry feels much more crisp and stable now, the rear end is more planted.

I got mine a couple days ago and they look great. Won't have a chance to test them for a while yet, but they look 10 times better than the sorry looking stock ones.

Really? I am thinking the tracking might not work across the border. The scan shows you for sure I dropped it off @ the post office, but the delivery time is unacceptable, it is supposed to be 2-3 day priority. I am worried I might have messed up your customs form.. but I have not heard anything from the post office on your package having an issue. Hopefully the mounties on moose back get you your SSB's soon!
