Rude.

Its all good.

I have tried to post as little as possible, I would rather ship product than talk about process steps..

not rude. these are strips of aluminum, in a shiny color, with two holes in em. this isnt a suspension arm or a coilover. this is a simple product. its ludicrous that people are waiting MONTHS for the ONLY product "RPSport" sells. the site literally has a "Product" section instead of "Products". if you are to focus on one thing, and that thing is a pair of aluminum strips in shiny colors with your logo on it, you better be able to deliver those suckers on time.

and the hardware looks nancy-like. and OTW says its RUSTING already???? id expect for the price of what? 40 bucks that it would have stainless hardware.

juuuust saying. being a realist has its benefits.

Actually mrgreeneys, RPSport Sells our custom valve shim tool, and the full haltech catalog, including tuning and installation of haltech and other ems systems.

I don't understand the slang terms "nancy-like" or "OTW" so you will have to fill me in on that.

Stainless hardware is not as strong as the stuff we are using. The rust is only on the surface because it is black oxide. The hardware is iso, ansi astm certified. I am looking into zinc coating the hardware but have clearance issues to account for after coating them. I also don't see an order from you, so I don't know what you are so up in arms about.

I always more than take care of my customers. And the wait time on this was just unreal because of supplier issues. The job should have been finished last month, but I had to leave the country to visit sick family.

If you are posting just to flame, take the noise somewhere else. If you have constructive critisicm, I am all ears.

So is there an ETA on these? I just really need some motivation to install these pbm subframe risers, I'm not gonna be putting the stock subframe braces back on the car so I really hope these ship soon. Can't wait to see them, great idea for a product!

John,

Nancy-Like means weak and Cheap.

OTW - Is short for OutToWinPa - The poster that is commenting on the rusting hardware.

I don't know how i missed that on the site... My bad. I just want to make sure about one thing though. These are a complete ECU replacement that eliminates the MAF Sensor for 2 new sensors right? And i can tune it the car with every feature?

Thanks,

Thanks,
OTW is me,

And I am not one to complain, I think the items are much stronger then stock, and look damn good. But there are 3 things I dont like about these.

1-The old ones had a "dog leg" bend that allowed them to sit flat, The mating surfaces are not even, and your bar is straight so it does not make level contact.

2 - The hardware heads are barley cover the drilled hole. It seems as if the hardware should have a larger head, or the holes are drilled 2 small.

3 - I wash and dry my car whenever I take it out, and it doesn't go out much. I have only been in light rain once in this car. The hardware rusting so soon just doesn't seem quality. Nissans OEM 19 year old zinc coated bolts are still nice and clean.

So I do use these, but I cam going with some better hardware.

Belive me the hardware is quality, like I said I am looking for a way to coat it.

The way our part mates is the magic to it. The washers cover the secure hole (you did use the washers right?).

I am picking up the finished parts tonight!

Yeah I got 4 bolts, 2 washers. But I am working with a vendor who makes aerospace hardware, grade 11+, which I will be using.

i use PSM subframe risers with NO oem nor aftermarket brace things. no need. your subframe will be SO secure to the chassis with PSM risers that it renders this type of brace entirely useless.

this will be last i will post in this thread. OutToWin (OTW) has clarified and reiterated all the info necessary to reinforce my points, regardless of the "slang" you may not understand.

if this piece solves subframe squirming on nico members cars, then they have bigger issues that need addressed if it can move around THAT much to warrant braces.

The subframe risers make wheel hop worse on the S-chassis.

Jack's car http://www.rpsport.net/test/jack/

Had risers, with tons of wheel hop, as soon as our braces went on, reduced it visibly from watching the car before and after on the track.

To date I have not had anyone complain that the braces did not deliver a performance increase. The only criticism that is ever given is by people who have no first hand experience with our product. Just because you "think" you know how things perform, does not mean you do.

If this product made no difference, A: I would not be selling it and B: I wouldn't have so much trouble keeping it stocked. These braces sell out before each new order arrives.

John

On the washers, I started including 2 more lock washers for people requesting them for the front fasteners.

Finally.

Went with blue instead of purple b/c the wifey likes the color better!

I think they look hot as hell. Going to start shipping as soon as tomorrow! Should be all caught up by this weekend. About 65% of this lot is already spoken for, so if you want some, get some now!

Everything should be shipping very fast from here on out. And sorry for the long wait time again.

John

jack has SOLID ALUMINUM subframe risers? i dont see how aluminum can shift? maybe im missing something.

i understand im being VERY harsh on this product, thats undeniable.

i propose the following: out of the 35% unspoken for, hook me up with a set. ill install them and put the car thru its paces. if they honestly make a difference, ill retract all statements and assist in promotion.

if they dont make a difference, ill end up with $40 shiny pieces under the car. if nothing else, something to break up all the PSM orange and eastcoast gray subframe.

^ This is a great opportunity to make a believer and better sell you product John! MGE is very well known and respected around here and just like TeddyS13 (who has a testimonial on your site) people will trust his words. At least make the deal that if they don't work he has to return them.

If you understand marketing and promotions you would know that almost ALL major companies provide free products to reviewers so others will purchase on the good reviews. So YES companies DO make money by giving a couple free products out to reviewers. Just like the 3 testimonials on John's website. They were all free for good press. Go cry and make sure you cam it and put it on U-tube so i can laugh at you crying in a corner.

Shipping them now.

You will get an email with a tracking number when it ships. Going from oldest to newest.

And I gave allot of demo's out to people all over the country. Many of whom never wrote a review for me, so I am done giving out freebies to anyone. Lots of people have bought the SSB and love them, so if you want them you will purchase them. I regularly get emails like this one I got yesterday:

"Hi, I purchased some s13 subframe braces from you guys a few months ago and I love them! I do auto cross events here in FL and I was wondering if you guys have any decals I could add to my car (2 would be great!)? If so, please let me know and I'll send you my address. Thanks!"

So I have no need to give out any more freebies.

John

Jesus christ.

If you don't like the product, stay the hell out.

It's a pretty simple concept you just can't seem to comprehend.

I can vouch for John and the product.

Still have these on my daily driver and absolutely love them.

The product has already been tested several times and proven to work.

So, there's no need for him to give your a** a free set to make you happy.
