I have to support both but I will always be partial to hatches because my first 240 was a hatch.

All 240 owners must bow down to the hatchback. It dominates all the other forms of the 240 that it was even featured in both of the Need for Speed: Underground games! Now if that isn't a reason to trade whatever 240 or car you have for a 240 fastback, I don't know what is!

I might argue with you on the hatch being the best model....Fastback is just badass....Coupe is lighter....And the vert is a god.Sweet beach cruiser.Hatch and coupe you can only stand out sunroof.Vert it awesome vehicle to go egging in or other missions.Easy acces no need for doors to be opened.Ladies love the drop-top on any vehicle even better it's a 240. Now the ultimate 240 "beach/party vert" will be mine....for a little while till someone stomps me.How can you go wrong with a SC and a keg?You can't simple as that.

I wouldn't mind a drop top but it looks like pure A$S with the top up And living in Washington the top would be up more than down, even in summer :p

BTW to the FWD hating newbie, Toyota's sports cars are also RWD, such as the Supra, Cresssida (don't laugh), old school Celicas and Corollas. And Honda's S2000 gives us a run for our money although it was truly made to tear up the roads coming straight out of the factory. Death to ignorance!

There is a reason FWD is so prolific. It is cheap to build, lightweight, and highly efficient (less moving parts in the drivetrain).

Plus kids tend to crash less. You know you throw a RWD car into the hands of a 16 year old and they'll gas it turning a corner on busy street and drift right into someone

Not with a Rabbit, oh no. I'll be flooring it through turns til my tank is empty, in my non-extistant car

i hope you're just being sarcastic because i'd want one of those...that !@#$ is probably worth as much as your ... coupe lol

i'm not sure about the brand the white 180 has but it looks adjustable. and it's not the apc special...http://www.raretrick.com/index...=4888

they go from 500~ nonadjustable-3000+

in my opinion, don't think that matters 240 hatches can fit in more with the 97+ generation cars the "round" generation like the newer rx7 fds, i think 94+ accords, 96 ek civics, sw20 mr2s, newer supras, sc300/400 u get the point.

240 coupes are more old school looks more like a r32 the rear glass area/quarter panel. it's more boxy like the older integras as someone mentioned, u know those 1990~ accords super boxy. it still looks good in its own way it depends on the persons style or taste i guess.

i'm not sure who's pictures are these can't remember where i got them from but forgive me if they're your cars they look good =)

here's the reason why "i" prefer hatch. it looks like a newer car. therefore when cleaned up, add some aero (either jdm oem or aftermarket), +fresh mirror shine paint, slammed, +nice fitting wheels you can confuse the average person to wonder if thats a brand new or late model 2000+ car. (of course without all the decals, tein etc)

trying not to offend anyone but that's what i think the hatch looks newer and the s13/coupe looks more like an older 1980s-early 90s gen car as it really is. although i must say it still looks good i prefer the hatch and will never buy a coupe.

here's a comparison. that's a pretty nice s13 converted coupe. i mean it has a aero bumper ahhh. vs a hatch. i'm really disgusted when i see fender flares, NSMO without the i side skirts, but i still think that looks better than the coupe.

the coupes \ back looks weird to me. but at first i used to hate the hatch too because it looks so different from typical cars. my eyes were so used to seeing the rear pillar and when i saw the rear quarter glass on the hatch i was like wtf this is disgusting looks like some vato car. after seeing some cleaner ones with skirts, drop etc my eyes adapted to it and it's my favorite 240 trim/gen now even over s15 and jdm s14 kouki/zenki. i dont know why

if u really want this whole coupe vs hatch discussion going. go and randomly ask anyone what do they like more. have a coupe and a hatch parked next to each other lol.

Don't even get me started on how ugly the S15 is :\

I mean the front is alright, the interior is beautiful, but the rear... ugh.

I'm a coupe fan , so it really hurts to know that Nissan decided to bring back out the S13 "hatch" as the 180sx in 97' cuz of "popular demand". I mean come on they reproduced an "old" car because of popular demand. Why couldn't they make me feel good and reproduce coupes too. *shucks*

that circled part is the part i like most about the s15. i can care less about the headlights. it's all about the car's body. u can shove s15 headlights into anything and it wont look good without the "curves!"

Haha, I guess that goes to show that the fastback is better. it was even brought back from being out of production, hahaha.
