Hey, I won't join in on the pissing contest. Though I will say dancing kitty approves of this one!

They look like they want to play, but they can't.

well...to add to this.I'd rather have my effeminite S14 zenki (the zenki was pushed as a chick car by nissan so calm down) mistaken for a toyota curren or a camry, than have my hatch mistaken for a ford probe. I think being mistaken for an integra (yall must hav some pretty blind ppl to mix up da teg an S13 silvia front) is better than being mistaken for a probe....unless it's a super tricked otu probe with Skyline GT-R badges on the sides (yes, we have one of those over here. turbo abd everything...kinda fast)

My friend's S13 with silvia front gets confused for a DA many times.

Also while Im being honest 97/98 se manual is the best 240 ever made, and I originally wanted a hatch but then dropped the decided on a coupe after noticing that every fan boy wanted a hatch with an sr20...Now I honestly do like the coupe better 98 s14 > s13 coupe>96 s14>s13 hatch

Surgeon general says reading this thread causes aneurysms.which one is kouki? I cant never remember cause I don't really care...My point was when most people think of 240's they probably think of a s13 hatch and I want to be different If only I could have gotten one of the green on green ones...

I think if you ever referred to a car using this term there, they would look at you funny. Unless they're in the know about this "American" term.

I agree with whoever it was on pg 2. Mine always gets mistaken for a Porsche. That's what everyone (FC, 240, and Probe) ripped off anyway.

Bleh, I can carry a full set of tires in my hatch. Can coupes do that or do they need a trailer like those little girly Miatas?

Sometimes we forget ourselves.

All 240 owners must bow down to the hatchback. It dominates all the other forms of the 240 that it was even featured in both of the Need for Speed: Underground games! Now if that isn't a reason to trade whatever 240 or car you have for a 240 fastback, I don't know what is!

I am pretty sure that the 1st and 3rd pics are of DB Integras from 1990-1993. The DA's are from the late 80's. They had the D16A1 engine in the US market.

I love my coupe and other people's coupes too. But I really hate it when I'm driving at night and I see another coupe from the back. So I pull up quick to check it out , and it is a 89' prelude!! pisses me off.

Sorry, but I don't see the close resemblance between an old Prelude 2.0 (1988-1991, isn't it?) and an S13 240SX coupe. The tail light patterns are way different.

I don't know why, yes the fastbacks and probes look similar, but the Probe and 240SX Fastback have different qualities to them. Whenever I see a Probe of the era, it has a certain trashy quality to it, where the 240SX has an elegance to it. Maybe it is all psychological, or maybe it is in the subtle details. I don't know.
