I love substituiting more weight and less rear stability just to "look cool". Back to reailty: I really miss my coupe back in the states =(

I don't really think it is all that much weight and stability. For weight I know we are only talking 31lbs, and even less of a difference (18lbs) if one is comparing a base level hatch with an SE coupe.

The coupe is actually heavier than some hatches with an automatic, but none of us here have an automatic coupe, right?

wow... I can't believe I just wasted my entire lunch break reading this thread...

anyways, plus one for the coupe... I prefer to see some hard body lines... I agree w/the one poster: silvia front end looks better on coupes... but the hatchs sport the popups better...

<shrug> Back to the grind...

I have a coupe and I have nothing against hatches. The coupe just caught my eye better and I like the lines on it...it's going to look super sexy once I can get my rims on it as well as a custom paint job - I'm going to do it myself...heh. Save myself a few thousand bucks.
