So, SHTF a couple of minutes ago.

The woman that I was talking about happened to be one of my best friend's ex-gf. He found out about what's going on and called me at 1:30 in the morning to yell at me about it.

I knew that she was his ex when I went to help her. I had no other intentions then to help resolve the issue with the phone. I did not contact my friend about the situation as I figured there was no reason to yet.

So, I need advice on how to handle the situation. My friend is flipping out on me about it and saying if I see her again that he'll cut all contact with me.

tell your friend to get over it.........there is no "once i've dated her, you can't ever, or else we can't be friends" rule when on the subject of women. if it has been over the 6 months period, then you are good to go. I mean you guys are friends, but he needs to understand that it's not like you are the reason they broke up or that you jumped at her as soon as they did. it's totally by coincidence and it just so turns out that you have "more than a friend" feelings for her and you're really looking for an LTR. his chance is over, and he really should move on. i certainly wouldn't let a friend get in the way of possibly finding the woman i'd spend the rest of my life with.

Well, its one thing to go after a friend's ex intentionally, its completely different if its unintentional and it was a high school relationship. So, give her the business and send vids to your friend.

Brien, to me,sleeping with a close friend's ex-GF is off limits if he still has feelings for her, or if he specifically asks you to back off. To pursue her despite that puts your friendship with him at risk, plus it sinks you down to Nala's level, which is pretty low. If you value your buddy's friendship, don't PIIHB.

I've never dated a buddy's GF, but I had the reverse happen a few times. Ex-GF's that slept with buddies. In all the cases, it was after the GF's and I broke up, and my buddies all checked with me first, which I respected. I didn't mind at all. In fact I could make a good case that it was great being a trailblazer. I thought it was flattering that my friends really liked my taste in women. It was also cool not having to speculate how good a buddy's GF was in bed or how she looked nekkid, because I already knew.

I guess it's a matter of perspective.

I would never date a friends ex when he/she still has feelings for the other. Its a different story if he hit it and quit it in most cases. I think its ok if they dated for a couple months, split, and wanted you later, much later. But at the same time its gross if you have a bunch of friends or know a bunch of people that have all banged it out. You indirectly touch all of your friends penises.

As a matter of fact I knew this one girl who was hot and sexy as hell that dated one of my friends. They split and she went to his undercover bf (long story there... and gross), for payback I guess. Later as I talked to some people every now and then, they always say yeah I dated her. Wow, no thank you. I would still be scared even wearing 2 condoms.
