Well E7, I actually thought both aspects were good. But I will say this, I've been in back in Greenville since I got out the Air Force in '06 and I haven't been able to see a lot of drift events like you would see, lets say, like in Cali, where there are abundant tracks. So it was definately a pleasure to be able to attend a local event only 20min from the house. The only other drifting I've seen live was last year at HIN in Charlotte. I know there's a track down in Kershaw but don't know how ofter they have events or if groups of friends drive down just to get some track time and I have heard of the weekly drift day thing they got down in Myrtle Beach that I think is every Sunday but that's all the way down in Myrtle Beach. So basically what I'm saying is I wish us locals could get together and just find a place here in Greenville or Spartanburg where we could go everyweekend and get some practice time in and chill and hang out like the big boys do in Cali. And a place where others can come and watch, like me, cause our cars aren't ready to see any track time yet As far as the car show aspect, it was cool to me cause I loved all the 240 love that showed up I barely looked at any of the other cars. Lol

P.S. Does anyone hang out anywhere in Greenville on the weekends other than those who meet over at Sonic on Woodruff?

215/45R17 front and 235/40R17 rear, as far as lowering it more i would need to take off the lip because the front is less than 3" off the ground with the lip. im more interested in trying out different tire sizes and compounds so i can get max grip.

That's a pretty good size. Im running 225/45/and 255/40 rear bfg gforce sports, great cheap and grippy tires. I would like to go lower an have a little more clearance for the front. I scrub pretty bad on hard turning in the mountains and scrub my lip as well. I'm also scrubbing inner fender in the rear because of the ride height and stock rear arms causing too much camber. I'm maxed out on my stances in the front without removing collars. I'm probobly about 1.5-2inches max from my lip being on the ground, my lip is also in pieces and held together with zipties haha. I would try to get rid of that wheel gap though, would look much better . If you don't wanna be stupid low and run a nice sized tire up front I would run a 235/40 front, they are about the same size sidewall as a 225/45 too. I ran some hankook rs2's and they were awesome and decent priced just the treadwear sucks. Make sure your alignment is spot on or else you will go through them in month like I did.

yeah i think im going to put bigger tires up front for that wheel gap, maybe do 235/40 in the front and a 255/40 rear like your running. i want so much grip that i cant spin a tire...lol.

On a side note look what i got today

i ordered it friday from Shaftmasters.com and in came in today. I had it shipped to my job so at about 9:40 this morning i was ready to get off...lol. to bad its wet/raining outside so i cant install it now.

i wish, it rained all night and this morning and the ground is still wet. i should have never towed my car here from my friends house because at least there it was in a garage and i could have it in already. no paved area here so i have to wait til the ground is dry and not as soft as it is now because my jack stands will sink into the dirt and make the car too unstable to work on.

Dude, cardboard and just leave the car sitting on the jack and stick the jack stands under it to make you feel better.

Worked on fixing the wiring on the sr last night. Traced the wires out as best I could, got the fuel pump to cut on but it would not stop priming. Then I went to start it and it wouldn't crank and fuel pump won't cut on again, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

took her for a test drive and i'll be damned if the front driver side wheel didnt come off. the simple things always get you, i guess i forgot to tighten the lug nuts when i put the temp wheel on. ohh well now i got the rim back on that matches the car and i straitened out the dust shield on brakes and now i need to fix that fender or get another one. s*** happens and it always seems to happen with 240's for me im thinking im kinda like Gone in 60 Seconds with the Shelby GT500.
