gnvarnadore wrote:hey hubert yall got any used 1 piece driveshafts for a s13 non abs laying around? i got my ka24de from yall in march and a 1 piece is the last thing i need to drive my car. dropped the motor in and it fired up first turn of the key with no leaks or smoke. went to put the driveshaft back in and when tightening the bracket for the center bearing the bolt was just spinning and not tightening and cant think of a way to fix it to drive it without getting a 1 piece.
I have no idea. We are in the process of moving to a larger facility and there is no telling what we have in storage. Try giving Chris a call next Monday or Tuesday and see what he says.

On a side note: we'll make an official announcement later on when we have everything set up at the new shop. Expect $20 dyno pulls, free food, light music and cool things.

Lol, I agree with jordan 100%. Safc is a piggy back that cannot control timing. So how was his timing retarded? Come'on hubert, you of all people should know that.

And yeah, ive never seen a NA motor with crack ringlands. Detonation will cause crack ringlands. I mean, i could be wrong. But stock timing and boost, tuned with an SAFC = Kaboom.

Jordan, you'd better not be selling off my skirts.
True, I should of been more clear so that was a fail on my part. Simple as that. Base timing was retarded either 5 or 6 degrees according to Kissshhhh when I asked. Fuel was controlled with SAFC. Keep in mind that I personally did not tune his car and I'm going off what Kissshhh and Chris are telling me. This was actually news to me till it was brought up on this forum. It doesn't make a difference, I trust both Chris & Kissshhh on their word.

the hatch itself i was selling for only 1500 stock. its all the parts im giving him that is a lot. i was selling the ssr's for 1500, skirts for 200, exhaust 200, kouki s14 sr is worth at least 2000, stances are worth about 900. thats 6300 basically for an automatic kouki with jdm front, gay fn's with crap front sizes, coils i hadnt heard of and needs paint. how much would you estimate the value of that car?

i was originally just going to sell the ssr's and hatch to buy new wheels for the coupe so idk. i love the coupe but i have always wanted a jdm front kouki, just cant stand the thought of riding around on some crappy wheels and s***

i didn't know your hatch was s14 SR'd.. and didn't know the s14 was autotragic...

the rears on that car fit ok tho. just the fronts are kinda off.

ive seen ppl buy them for 9k.but that one.

eh. id say 7-8. being that its the kouki.. which is "somewhat" more rare.. as some ppl think.

but with the supporting mods..id say 7-8evn more if it was manual tho.

ive also seen people buy decently clean ones for 4k haha im thinkin like 7k for a mint low miles one. im gonna research some more and see what the average price is, i really dont wanna let my car go with the wheels on it

as a matter of fact my friend has his super clean one with coils/wheels/full z brakes up for sale for 5khttp://www.240atlanta.com/foru...kouki

such a hard decision for me haha damn

ha 7ks what id start at.if i were selling.. then go down from there.

a suckers born everyday in this world.i personally like the s14s better than the s13s so im more biased towards one.

the s14 would hold more value tho. being a less made bodystyle and newer year.

all stuff to think about u know

tough call...i mean that kouki is nice...but you could make your hatch just as nice with the money you would be putting into 5 speed swap stuff and new wheels ( and coils??? ). Then again i thought most of the stuff on your hatch is going back on your coupe bro...

on second thought hell no...you have ssr's, stance, blastpipes, and sr. Use the money you would spend on the aforementioned parts ( 5 speed and wheels ) and make the hatch way clean.

yeah f*** it, ill just finish the hatch. prob keep the wheels for now until somebody offers to buy them for a reasonable price. buy some cheaper wheels and coils for the hatch and call it a day. i need to finish the sr so i can put the vh in, damn it should be running already haha.

Ay man, I was making a delivery downtown Greenville near Coffee St. one time and saw you with the gold coupe on SSR's (err I guess it was you). Man I almost s*** my pants that thing was so clean lookin. Anyway, here's my opinion, since he obviously likes the fn's why not finagle a deal to where ya'll swap wheels so you get the kouki and ssr's and he get the 13 and the fn's? Or you just just decide to keep the clean arse 13 on Professors as I will later read further down the thread.

...and I think I may have answered my own question. I just noticed that your el Professors are 4lug lol, my bad. Now my next ?, why have you decided to stay 4lug? Seems like with all the other mods you've accomplished that, that wouldv'e been one of em. Just curious.

stayed 4 lug cause i found those wheels. i have a 5 lug swap in my garage, my next set if i decide to sell those will most likely be 5 lug. one reason why i love the ssr's is because they are 4 lug and sbc in a pretty good size/offset, pretty rare only seen a few sets of them. glad you like me coupe though hopefully have it back on the road sometime haha
