I've got a question guys. Are there any places around Columbia that specialize in turbo cars or 240s? My 240 has been sitting for 1 1/2 years and I want to get it running again, but I can't figure it out myself. Thanks.

Yeah, I try to anyway, but I'm no mechanic. lol

I guess I got in over my head with this car when I tried to install a head gasket on it. I put it back together and can't get it to start. I've tried everything I could think of and finally gave up.

Ok well you guys I need your collective help I am getting a new front bumper for my 93 240 and I am torn between two different bumpers. One is a stock 180sx Kouki front, and the other is a Version Select bumper.

1. Kouki

2. Version Select

They both are nice but I like the Version Select one a little more. I just don't like the front license plate mount on the Kouki.

Jordan you are the one who sent me that. Huh I didn't know who that was. Anyway do you know what company makes it, because I have tried no name stuff and it broke within a month. Then I tried Extreme Dimensions and that stuff won't break, almost 3 years and still no cracks or anything.

So just get back to me on the company and how much you want because I might consider it.

The style I am going for is like simple elegance. I am keeping the car white and just adding a few style cues.

I just checked my SOHC today and guess what the ***** is locked up. So now I need a new KA...does anyone happen to have one?

Also,

I was at maybe getting a CA. I know it doesn't have too much power, but it is what came in a 180sx and like I said I am going for Simple Elegance. It just seems to fit. I am going to call TDC tomorrow and see how much they would charge me to do the swap, or I might just decide to do it myself.

the only thing I don't like about it is the fact that you need bumper extenders so it goes all the way to the wheel well. Kind of sucks, that is the only thing I am really debating on.

I have a question for you guys what do you think of a CA? Also, do you think it would be hard to install? I do have all the toys I need and everything, but I don't know much about turbos, but I can always research it.

I like the CA. Some people like to think of it as a 4 cylinder RB motor. You can make some nice power out of it for sure. The only thing is you don't see as much support for it as the SR or even KA. I don't think it would be too hard to install if you've got all the tools and some help.

theres a guy here in columbia that has a CA in his car and he loves it. he says its like a baby RB and that they can make alot of power but alot of people over look them because the newest CA you will find will still be about 15 years old. im thinking of getting a CA if i buy that pignose and im still wanting to put a SR in my chuki. yeah ca's and sr's came in the 180sx so it dont really matter which one you drop in if your wanting to make it a 180sx.

Yep that is what I was thinking. I think I am going to do it because I have had a few people say they put one in with only hand tools. Also, I can do better than that because my uncle wants to help and he has over 6000 tools (not joking) and a huge garage. I have also heard that the thing pulls like a beast, and SRs are way overused.
