scs13 wrote:pat, whats up with your clutch? you just cant get it to bleed right? bleeding it is always a pain in the ***. it works better if instead of pumping it you just push it to the floor one time and bleed it. it keeps the big air bubbles from turning into little ones when you pump it. if that doesnt work you might wanna replace the master and slave cyl, but its like 30 dollars for both.

anyways, what are you gonna do with your old motor?
I got the clutch to be bled somewhat. A few weekends ago i was at Autozone 6 times in 2 days getting parts to fix it. Ended up replacing the Master Cylinder and thats what did the trick, although i only bled it enough to drive the car home from a buddy's place where the hoist is. Dont know what i will be doing. This engine i have now is worse then the other one. Likes to die down. The other motor though is at a buddy's just a bit away. Has a 5speed motor and everything, clutch is decent, um...just runs rich dont know why. Let me know what you have in mind, my cell is always on and i can only check email certain times.

After posting it I got to looking at it a little more and I think I might try to pick it up. It won't cost too much to get it back to perfect about $400 with fender, seat, headlight, and radio. I think I might do it. If I do there goes my 240. Oh well I can find another one without a problem. If I do decide to sell my 240 I will post it on here first.

I bet you could get that car for a lot less than $500 if he is just going to sell it for scrap. It may not have a title... but then again it could just be a drift whore.

Anyone got some good S14 SE wheels with good tires to get rid of? Or something 5 lug with good tires that might look good on my maxima? I'm working on getting the front end all fixed up before I put it back on the road. I'm replacing struts, springs, strut top mounts, bushings, and anything else it needs, and then it will get an alignment.

...yall would not believe how fast it went through the front tires. Freaking amazing.

I was thinking about doing it pretty bad, but what I wonder is if he is selling it for this cheap is the frame bent? Makes me think it is. I will see if he still has it tomorrow which he probably will and I will see if he will take like $200 for it. Then could you get me a fender and a full headlight assembly for really cheap? I would much appreciate it. We will see how things go.

Well I am not going to get it because gnvarnadore contacted him also and he was told that he did not have a title to the car so I am not going to get it without a title. Southside you should contact him though because you could probably get those tails off of him cheap because he is just going to crush the car tomorrow. You might want to contact him because you could loose out on a great deal if you don't.

Sup everyone, WELCOME newcomers!! I feel sooo silly for what recently happened to me, almost too embarrassed to tell you guys. For the longest time I have been thinking my bad u-joints were the source of problems in my 240. I've been trying to install my new driveshaft for the past 2 weekends w/o success. I also recently acquired new plugs and wires along w/ some Sea-foam. During my install I found the actual cause of all the chaos I've been dealing with. 2 of my spark plug wire terminals were broken off inside the boot. I've changed them all out now and added the Sea-foam to the gas tank, intake, and the few drops that were left over went into the crankcase. My 240 runs better than it EVER has!! Now with all that extra vibration gone, I can barely tell that the u-joints are worn. It's amazing what a tune up can do for a car..lol. I'm gonna probably hold off on installing my drive shaft now since it's a non factor @ this point, however I will complete it b4 Christmas. My next priority is getting my windows fixed, especially since it's getting cooler.

Hey Guido, if that deal doesn't work out on the 240, I saw an ad in the Carolina Trader for a Zenki @ $4000 but I don't have any further details. GL

Do any of you guys have a DOHC KA? I have a SOHC and a 93 body, but it seems kind of dumb to put in a SOHC in the newer body. Although it does have new camshafts, 555cc Nismo Injectors, and an Exedy Stage 1 clutch. Actually now that I say that maybe it isn't such a bad idea.

I wonder about the wiring though. I guess if it would crank up and run then it would be worth the trouble, I just don't know.
