nope, it's pretty much a no brainer to actually wear one.

Bite me.

Anyway I test drove the car today and it is not worth what he is asking for it. He has a massive vacuum leak and he basically drove the car into the ground. Definitely not worth it.

mike doesnt you car have automatic seatbelts? you right hand grabs it and puts it on when you get in the car. im just giving you a hard time about it cause when i was your age i didnt wear my seat belt but as i got older i started wearing it. good at the plus side, when you get your s13 on the road then you wont have to worry about your seat belt because they have autobelts.

Yeah your right. The only reason why I didn't have my seatbelt on is because I was like 3 feet from pulling into my work and I took it off like I usually do and right when I did I got pulled over. So just means I have to wait till I actually get in the parking lot.

that was rude.

how can you say it was a bogus ticket? they caught you without a seatbelt and gave you a ticket. End of story.

-having said that, don't get me wrong, I've gone on record many times on this forum and 240atlanta saying that cops are douchebags. Jordan can attest to that. And those ****ers DO profile our cars for sure.

What you said was rude, too. You know as well I as I do that a lot of people don't wear their seatbelt and telling me that it is a no brainer wasn't cool. I wouldn't have even been caught for anything if I waited like another 10 feet so I am not as bad as some people.

I agree with that I just don't understand why I am like the only one to get a ticket like that. I am not going to fight it though. There is no point I did what he said I did and there is no point in trying to say I didn't.

I do think that some cops are bastards, and some are actually looking out for people. Most of the time because the way our cars look they think that we have to be drug dealers or something. I remember one time I was coming home from Tennessee and I have to go to the bathroom really bad. We were no where near anything, the closest bathroom was about 20 miles, so we pulled over and I went into the trees (no one was on the road because it was like 12am). Anyway we get two cops racing down the road after I got back in and they blocked us in. They tried to say that we were selling drugs to each other and we were all in the same car! Anyway we ended up getting searched and everything and after they didn't find anything they let us go, but it took like 45 min just to get out of there.

I have a question for you guys and tell me what you think honestly. The last car I looked at was bad, but I was looking through the Iwannas' and I came across a:

1988 RX-7 Rebuilt motor. 39K miles on motor. New black paint. 17" 5 Zigen Wheels. Turbo 2 Hood. $3000 o.b.o.

I called and found out there is 168,000 miles on the body. So what do you guys think I don't really even want to go look at it if it is not even close to worth it as it sounds right now. I think if everything runs and looks alright I would offer 2600 for it. So what do you guys think? It is even worth it to go look at it?

Hey guys...Thanks for the complements. I've tried hard to make the car look good. I need a lot of things to get her finished, but don't we all. I need to update my pic, several things have changed...vspeed front bumper, wheels, exaust. I just got married, so a few things have to wait! But, it's worth it!

Well, for one I didn't realize that you had merely took it off early. That's normal to me, I do that in my subdivision. Had you been one of those people who never wear their seatbelts, then I would stand by what I said. My motives when I say something bold is to motivate people to think and to do better, not necessarily to be rude. I appologize for how it came off.

IMO, people who don't wear motorcycle helmets, and people who never wear a seatbelt are willingly and senselessly putting their lives in danger. That is stupid. Wouldn't you say that is a no brainer? It kind of pisses me off.

But, I don't think there should be laws like the seatbelt and helmet law in place for adults. It's not their place to rule over things that don't involve someone hurting another person.

That doesn't exactly sound like the deal of the century or anything. I guess if its a good running daily driver worthy car that is well maintained then $3000 might not be a bad asking price for any car. If you really want a project fc rx7, then there was one on craigslist a week ago, 2 cars for $800. One runs but looks like it backed into a lightpost hard, one does not run but has a really nice body. Both are black.

No big deal just wanted to justify that I am not stupid.

Now that is a no brainer. You are on a motorcycle that if you crash it can kill you if you don't have a helmet on. I don't like that fact that it is alright to not wear a helmet, but it is not alright to not wear a seltbelt.
maxima278 wrote:But, I don't think there should be laws like the seatbelt and helmet law in place for adults. It's not their place to rule over things that don't involve someone hurting another person.
I don't like it whatsoever, its like I don't need you to protect me from myself. ****ing stupid.

Maybe I should wait on it then if I can maybe find a better deal like something like that. I am looking for more like a daily driver and I thought and FC would be killing two birds with one stone because I have always wanted one.

my car is turbo now pretty quick too, just did a run in it.

setup is a sr t25, sr SMIC, 550cc deatchswerks, walboro 255, ebay bottom mount manifold/dp/elbow, spiking 9psi sometimes, conservative tune, afrs cruising around 14s and afrs under boost around 8-10.

0-60 in 5.211/4 mile 13.44HP 200TQ 220Forward G's .81

got these numbers on my gtech so the hp/tq are a lil conservative. just did all this last week and finished it a few days before nopi. she made it down there and back. its leakin oil all over the place right now so i probobly have to take the oil pan and turbo back off and reseal everything. does anybody happen to have a t25 oil return line?
