well my plans are still to do a SR20 swap and a full body mod with those plans I think that it is going to be a good idea.scs13 wrote:if it werent an 89 it would be a pretty good deal. could have a blown hg and not just need a new radiator. if you had everything or could buy everything to swap a good twin cam in it and paint it yourself then i might say it was a good deal, only if you could talk him down some though.
I have made my decision and I want to thank you guys for the help I am going to buy it Thurs. and post some pics and then this weekend I am going to do a flat black paint job to it and get a radiator and fuel pump and pick up the seats in 2 weeks and see how that works. Once again thanks for the help.Zee wrote:

Thanks I feel this is a good move right now. I think I might take you up on that offer if you can maybe wait till this next weekend I will defiantly that you know.Black on Gold wrote:Glad your picking it up. I know you want a S14 but hey things change and you can always do it later on down the road.
Hell, i have some S13 SE seats that i need to get rid of because they're taking up too much space. Only need a shampoo. I'll let them go for like $40 if you want them.
sounds very good to me thanksBlack on Gold wrote:Yea, i'll have it. I'll talk to you about it later this week.
Only bad thing about it is he didn't say if the transmission was included and he could rebuild it pretty easy but i guess some people are just lazy.Black on Gold wrote:SR anyone?

NSP? I dont mind what year because they are all going to be good for what I wanna do to it. I just have a good chuck of change that I am willing to spend on a 240 and I can't even find a decent one!scs13 wrote:why dont you look for a 91-93? nsp here has lots of shells for sale if that is what youre looking for.
Could you give me an address on NSP I have plenty of time this weekend, and this would a great place to look because all I need is a shell it would save me the time of removing the engine to get the SR in it. Thanks again I will look on carolinanissans.com today.scs13 wrote:its just less work if you are planning swapping an sr in it if you get a 91-93. if you get a piggy you gotta get hardlines for the ps from a chuki and swap the ps to the other side, the tach on the sohc gauge cluster wont work, and other stuff like that that can be a pain to get. it would just be nice to get a chuki 5 spd shell and a motorset and be good to go. but yeah, nsp in spartanburg has a ton of shells they sell. they even have a rhd one that they will sell. i would look on carolinanissans.com if i was you. theres always cars on there for sale, some guy got a s13 with a ca18 for like 1k too.
Thanks I will go there this Sat. and you are sure that they have shells for sale right because not that I don't believe but I don't want to look like a dumbass.scs13 wrote:not sure of the actual address, its right off of business 85, exit 2 c or something. i dont have my card anymore but ill check with my friend to make sure thats right.
Edit: i was right, heres the site.
