So lately my car has been feeling a little sluggish and things so Jordan had a look and the verdict is that I need a new turbo. There's a good bit of oil on the outside of the turbo like where it connects to the wastegate and stuff. How can I know for sure if the turbo is gone?

Also, when i come to a stop my idle dips really low sometimes. Not sure exactly how low because my tach doesn't work, but it's come pretty close to dying.

If it turns out my turbo is through what do you guys recomend i do? I'm leaning towards buying a t28 because i hate spending money just to get it back to the same place it was and not any better. I could always have it rebuilt or just buy another t25 though. Those options would probably be cheaper. So does anyone know where i can get a t28 for cheap?

I like my rota's and they are a good offset for the s14 too.

I need to take some new pics since I've gotten my suspension sorted out from those pictures.

Yeah, those are high on the list too. In fact, I was going to buy Brandon's because he was planning on trading the Z since he's moving up north, but he changed his mind so oh well.

Maybe I should get the Sports Bronze colored ones since he has hyper black. I'm not sure what do yall think?

Hey Brandon, maybe when you're down this weekend we can do a test fit of those on my car

btw, I just went up to mcd's this morning since I'm off work and out front pumping gas was none other than Chris Forsberg, with his truck and trailer headed for formulaD round 2. Then as I was walking inside Andy Sapp drove up in his drift bmw 3 series. If I didn't know what was going on down there at the track today I'd think I was in heaven. I think I'm going to head down there early. I'll have to go alone, but at least not for long.

Did you say anything to them?

Jordan, i have all the other lines hooked up to the Charcoal Canister. I was able to plug and play with them until the smoke gone and the idling became better.

We'll have to get together one weekend and take a look at it. You got a shop or something where you do all the swaps and work?

hey guy do yall think that a spark plug wire would make a good ground wire? i have a few spark plug wires laying around from when i got some for my accord but i didnt need, so im thinking of useing them for grounds on the 240.

Hey Jordan what year 240 did that radiator come out of because my old radiator cap isnt sealing so when i just took it around the corner it started spraying coolant out, then to make things worse i think the transmission is shot because it was granding and for an automatic to grind then its gone. so now im looking at a 240 thats not going anywhere. so im thinking of just waiting untill i have enough money for the sr20det and then converting it or freaking selling it and picking up a coupe. i so pissed the car has been nothing but trouble from the day i got it and i really wish i never traded my probe for it cause i got royaly f***ed.

Depends it usually doesn't make a good ground though because of the type of wire it is.

I have a question though would $500 be good for a 95 240 that needs 2 front seats, fuel pump, a radiator, and needs to be painted there are no other problems with it.

Hey, James, if your going to buy the parts car would you be willing to sell the 5 lug swap? You said you only need the suspension parts.

well good I am either going to get it tomorrow or next Saturday considering the fact that I am going to get paid next Friday. The good thing for me is that only two people know where the car is besides me, one is my best friend that told me about it and the other is a friend that is to lazy to get the money after he wrecked his honda.

pat, yeah, i have a garage that i do all my work in.

greg, is there fluid in the transmission or what, i dont think ive ever heard an auto transmission "grind". everything you said that is concerning to you could be fixed easily. if you pay for my round trip there and back i can probobly save you the time, money, and effort and come pick it up myself. i can get a new radiator easily so that is no problem. its really all up to you, if you wanna get rid of all the emissions bs or anything like that i can do it for you. just let me know what you wanna do because i was kinda counting on that income.

i think it would be better if i just came up there and picked the car up. no use in making a trip all the way out there just to have you drive it down here later. but thats up to you, i can probobly work something out.

Ok I made a mistake the car is an 89 240 (yep S13 baby) for $500. Needs a radiator, fuel pump, front seats and a paint is it still worth it? Because if it is then I am going to go pick it up next Sat. Thanks for the help guys.
