Sounds like a scam, but the shipping price comes out about the same doesn't it?

Aint that the truth.I took took out the fuel rail, messed with it a bit, put it back in and she stopped smoking. I havent noticed if the running rich problem has been fixed or not but we'll see in the next few days when i get gas and tally up the mileage.

Hey Gregg,Get with me when I get back on Saturday. I'll cut ya a great deal on my old one and get this (it's from an automatic). I meant to take pics of it the other night, but I didn't feel like getting coolant everywhere or draining the radiator. I started to take parts off tonight, but I have to pack (aargh) flight leaves at 7:40 am tomorrow. Hang on I sent you an e-mail.

Hey Pat,Hmm.. sound like you're losing pressure or have a leak that is causing a pressure loss... you changed out the injectors and gaskets.. right?.. have you messed with fuel pump?.. did you change out fuel pump?.. Maybe gasket around fuel pump cover is damaged.. but that would seem extreme (doubt that small a leak would do that).. no codes?.. I would have to guess fuel pressure regulator (stock one is spring operated isn't it). Maybe got knocked when you took off fuel rail.. The MAF was solid.. car started and drove right up until I parked it...last week.. engine sounded horrible, but it would still run.

Nah.. I'm gonna stick with fuel pressure problem.. might be worth upgrading to an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator..

Keep us posted on how it works out..

Havent checked the FPR but i'll do that next when i have time. I'll make sure it goes to a home (if thats what i decide to do. Im wouldnt mind having a 240 over there so shipping is also an option)

Anyways, take a look at this Gregg, this might helphttp://www.carolinanissans.com...10567

If I had the money I'd buy it.. but you'd hate what I want to do to it.. a Silvia drift truck.. that's my next project after the Vert gets done... oh in reply to an earlier post about coupes not having enough room to fit a snowboard... hmm I could fit a full set of skis.. I even fit my 18ft folding ladder in mine... oh yeah.. I did cheat.. GOIN TOPLESS BABY.. yeah that's right.. lol..

if you entertain the idea of shipping, lmk the details. i work in import (and dabble in export) so i could try to get you a good price on shipping.

Well then, lol. It would be probably to somewhere on the coast and then have to drive it from there to Switzerland like Spain or what not UNLESS, i can get it shipped straight there. That would be PERFECT

John, I got the hub centering rings on saturday. Let me know what you want me to give you for them.

Also, if anyone knows a good place to buy wheels, hit me up. I'm thinking of just going with the old standby- the 5zigen fn01r-c. But I think I'm in the market for something. I just don't enjoy driving on those wheels I have on it now.

I really want to go. Only problem is that's the weekend before exams... And i need to do really well on my exams this semester. When would we leave and get back? Like what day and time of day? There's still a slight possibility that i could go. I'm sure i could get some studying done on the drive there and back...

How much does it cost?

silvia drift truck? wow now thats something i wouldnt mind getting my hands dirty to help build. lets see remove rear seats, cut the roof off right behind the driver and the cut out the rest of the truck area. fab a wall behind the driver with a window in it. ok why not just buy an old nissan truck and swap in a sr20det and do some work on the front to make it look like a silvia? ahh heck lets cut up a coupe its more fun.

John i just got your email this morning and i replied.

i kinda wanna leave at like 12 or so, but it all depends on everybodys schedules. i wanna get there in time to set up and some festivities. i think that about 100 dollars or so should be good for the ticket, food, and gas. i might even be able to get some free tickets again this year . and i wont count on you to go this year luke, considering you chopped out on us last minute last year. jk.

I don't have to work next weekend(as of right now) and as long as I get some small things worked out with the Z, I'm game.

On a side notel; Jordan, did brandon figure out how to clock the turbo?
