GOOD, now go get the KOYO!!!! Call injected performance, you'll have it in like 3 days. I know it's more expensive, but trust me you won't be disappointed.

John, I like the seven spoke one on the shelf, but I'd have to see it on a car to really be sold. Brandon has similar wheels to the URAS ones and they look awesome, especially with that concave. For your color scheme, I'm not sure what color I'd go with, but I'm thinking gold or bronze may clash, Silver or a light gunmetal would probably be the way to go.

I did pay attention to your other post, I just didn't comment on it. I like the height of that car, and I like the wheels, but they could be spaced out a little bit. That... what should we call it, S14 point negative 3? ...I don't know yet what I think. Sure would make it cheap as hell to fix an S14's front end. That car looked good, but I can see that being botched very easily.

I do like this very much though and would not mind doing it on a hatch:

car belongs to yurikaze, by the way.

Yea, Im not much of a fan of that one, looks like from the back of the fender forward its photoshopped but i've seen some nice kouki fronts on a coupe. Enjuku has a silver one that i've seen.

Also changed the oil last night and found out there was ALOT of gas in it. Now im trying to find out what the cause of that is to possibly crack down the ****ty gas mileage im getting. I swear, the gauge goes down every time i turn the car on.

i like that one because of the wider fenders up front.

im really trying to decide if im going to do the strawberry face or the sileighty with my car.

for those that dont know. Combining the 180SX body with an S15 Silvia front end is a popular conversion. This is often known as "Sil-Fifteen Eighty", "s13.5" for the s13 body with a s15 front end and "Strawberry Face," since in Japanese, "one-five" is pronounced "ichi-go" and the Japanese word for strawberry is "ichigo"

A Sileighty is a Nissan 180SX with an S13 Nissan Silvia's headlights, front fenders, hood, and front bumper installed, hence the 'Sil' in front and the 'eighty' rear.

pat, gas in the oil sounds like leaky injectors again...grab new injector orings ( i went thru 3 sets trying to get them to seal). to check if there is a leaking injector itself, pull the fuel rail out (two 12 mm bolts on the fuel rail) but don't disconnect the harness or fuel lines. turn the key to "on" position but do not start the car. when the fuel pump (brand new ) primes the lines, check for the injectors leaking. they 'should' not leak. i thought i had fixed that problen since the ecu was not throwing codes for the last 3 weeks i had the car (put the ecu back behnd the kick panel the morning you came to pick it up) but if there is gas in the oil, you def have an injector leak. hence why its still running pig rich, and eating gas...

best of luck!!

Pat, I'm not a fan of the way those fenders meet up with the body, but I do like the kouki look on the S13 coupe/vert/hatch. There's a black vert in import tuner this month or last month that has an almost seamless conversion.

A lot of people don't like the sil-80 look, but I'm really tempted to do that for my hatch. If my S13 looked exactly like this one I'd be a happy man:

or what do you guys think about this: olive drab green with black on the bottom and bronze wheels? Remember this one is going to be a track whore, unlike the S14. Notice the pignose lip bolted to the bottom of the bumper.

Wait what about this one... lol[IMG][/IMG]

Technically this would have to be a Sil-Forty Vert. Silvia Front end. 240 rear because they never produced a 180 convertible in Japan. They did make a Silvia convertible in 1989 (about 600+), but the 240 was only made in 1992,93,94 (about 8400 total for all three years combined) and only for sale in the US market.

I'm was planning on rolling the fenders, but have decided to use flares. I've kinda lost some love for the widebody fenders and like the old school look of flares (wait .. i qualify for old school..lol).

The trunk lid is losing the wing and getting a lip. I am also doing the coupe door conversion (thanks Maxima) and she'll have nice low lines when the top is down and the boot is on.

James.. what about olive drab green on bottom.. black out roof and black out wheels with polished lip? nice roll on the fenders to squat low and tight.. sorry I love the blacked out top and windshield pillars and tinted windows, kinda makes top disappear. hawtness...

240drifter7, actually I've got one to sell, plus 2 back bumpers, lol.

John, the blacked out roof and window tint are a given no matter what color I go with. You all must know by now I love the enhanced-stock look. Right now that sil-80 configuration with the pignose lip and rolled fenders I believe is going to be the way I'll go. The olive drab is the best idea yet, I wanted to go with gray but I already have a gray 240 (which lately I've been thinking of painting deep blue).

Guiedo and brandon both have coupes that they want to be converted to silvia-front, and gnvarnadore was thinking of a sil-80.... so I wonder if we could all get together and find someone willing to give us a group buy on silvia fronts a a good deal?

Thanks alot Dan. Could use the help. As soon as im done fixing the "leak" with this car, we'll have to see about finding me a project. I'd like to just have a daily driver and then a project because having only one car to add stuff on gives me a limited time when it comes to painting (no other ride to work, etc). Maybe i can find a clean bare shell. Anyone find one though, let me know. Trying to find something i can start from scratch and work my way up.

I got the MAF today John, Thanks alot.

Hey Gang,Here is the place I got my front end from http://www.jdmsource.ca/

I think I paid $1000 for my conversion pieces - fenders, hood, Q's bumper, triple projector headlights, gtr grille. I haven't called them in a few months to see what inventory they have, but they were awesome to deal with. If you get ahold of Shoaib (that's the guy I deal with) tell him ya know me (he knows me as John from Charleston with the convertible). He's a straight shooter and a fellow 240 owner. I opted for the triple projectors when I got mine, because the bricks could be replaced later for less money. The only thing I had to get separate was the headlight brackets (about $20.00 a piece from Courtesy Nissan (NICO sponsor). I think they also sell NEW conversion pieces - if you feel the need to have new. If I have time Monday I will call and see if they can do some sort of group buy. It would probably work better to order all of them and have them shipped to one location (one with loading dock is cheaper) and then everybody pick theirs up. Just a thought.

Actually it's a 280zx front.

Pat that coupe has a nice color scheme on it. I think the 2-tone look may be growning on me.

Gregg that is an awefully high price. I would think you could get an S15 front for that.

JHOT sells conversions anywhere from $600-$800.

thats the regular price but i think they discount for nico members. ive seen them for cheaper on other sites but they are with a stock s13 bumper not an aftermartket one and some sites dont sell the headlights or brackets with them. i dont mind paying a higher price if im getting everything i need from one place. i really hate having to source parts from different places just the get a better deal because all the different shipping rates and the chance the item might be out of stock and have to wait for a back order

I just want the stock front, and then I'll use a pignose lip. I'm not interested in having thousands of dollars in body mods. The pics above is what I want my car to look like, just enough to give it curb appeal.

I am the same. Im going to try and find a coupe shell if possible and do a 2 tone paint similar to that of the one i posted. I think it would look extremely good with a stock body along with a lip.

Only thing about coupes is that in most cases, the jdm silvia front is a must. Hatchbacks can pretty much go either way and look good.

Put on the MAF today. Also changed the Air Filter because as you can see, she looks like she got ran over by a bus and thrown in the mud.

Also decided to buy some Fabric Paint from PepBoys and painted the second carpet that i have. Doesnt look too bad but im going to buy an extra can and touch it up a bit. Then i'll be putting the SE seats i have from another S13 that are much cleaner. I'll take a pic of the interior next weekend when i put it in. Before:After:

ok ok Pat, I guess I'll eat my words. Jordan's looks pretty good, and I saw a nicely fixed up pignose coupe that looked pretty good too the other day. Did you notice the third car behind the black one looks kinda like mine?

That xenon lip makes all the difference. So what do you think of my sil-80 idea? you never said. I'm still heavily leaning toward that olive green and black 2 tone on a sil-80.

So Jordan what all did you do to that civic? Just add the supercharger or did you mess with the internals of the motor too?
