Can you fill me in about that car? I might be interested for $700...I also just picked up a car I am going to definately sell the motor and trans out of but I don't know about the rest of the car yet. It's a 1991 Hatchback SE Manual with 170,000 miles. The engine runs strong but due to a short in the electrics it will only start rolling. I almost surely have the engine sold, but here are a few pictures.

EDIT: I'll get some tomorrow, too dark for them at the moment.

No worries James, it turned out good and it will only get better in the future. The food turned out good thanks to yours truly, and everyone was really cool. We were hoping for a decent turn out and we got one, but there's always room for improvement. 7 people in attendance isn't too bad considering everyone's personal schedules. We discussed meeting quarterly so that we can still have a good time and try to accomodate our ever changing lives.

Ok everyone, I just can't take it anymore. The connector that goes to my MAF sensor is done. The pins that plug in are kinda rigged up right now with electrical tape and individual wires to each prong. I'm running quite rich and my idle is irregular, almost like a pulsing. IF anyone has an s13 that they're getting rid of, parting out, or otherwise not needing this particular componet; please let me know what's up. I need the connector and about 3-6 inches of the wiring harness that's attached. I'll post some pics as soon as I can find my bluetooth adapter to xfer the pics from my phone.

I believe Guido has some better pics than I do, since he used a real camera and not a cell phone like me. I'll try to get up the few that I have as soon as I find that adapter.

gr8bryt, do you need SOHC or DOHC MAF pigtail? i may be able to get both for you guys. have some one local who is parting a DOHC, and the local junkyard has a few SOHC (have to check if the harness is still there) and will be hitting them in the next few days (prolly by this weekend) and can grab them both and ship them, just hook me up with shipping at least.

yeah..i just moved up to sanford(below raleigh)..probably never heard of it..but i was looking to see if anybody was out and around me..it'd be good to meet some of you guys..

not to mention maybe help, i just got this car, and since im pretty new to it im a little unsure of diving in and working on it. i mean i've been spacing out on this forum gathering information and readings tons of articles..so i have an ideaof whats going on....i mean i have driven jeeps up till now, not much to them ya know..

but if anybody would be willing to do that, it'd be damn awsome. also can anyone give me the name of a quality body shop near me. i need a sizable dent pulled and my bumpers repainted. OH!..and a salvage yard where i can find a hatch, i've driven out to about 3 of them and nobody has a hatchback..just coupes or a zenki

what's the deal with Guiedo's hatch, I really don't see any damage. The one I just bought for $500 has about the same amount of damage, I'm just going to pull it out and replace the body panels.

None of those cars look too bad to me except for Randy's car, it looks pitiful. Funny how both replacement cars are the same colors as the originals.

The car is fixable but it isn't realy cost effictive to do so, since it needs a new core support.

That must be the one you guys were talking about when you came to pick up the hatch. The one Randy smacked the tree with

no, Guiedo's cars are the white ones. his hatch does not look bad at all, seems like you could bend the core support back out.

Randy's is the red one that looks absolutely hopeless.

As I said earlier, Guiedo's hatch is fixable but unless you have friends that do body work and that are willing to give you a good deal, his car is not cost effictive to fix.

Well, my S13 is damaged about the same, but it has a running motor in it, I guess all I was trying to figure out was if it was going to be harder to fix than I thought. I was not looking for perfection, just something I can practice drifting in.

Like I said, Randy's cars are the red ones. I don't know which one hit a tree.
