hey yall, last night I bought a pignose hatch in downtown atlanta, complete with souvenir bullethole in the side! I paid $500 including $180 towing fee back up to my house. She's silver with blue interior, a 5 speed, has a little front end damage but I have most of the parts to fix it (except for a driver's side fender), other than the front it's pretty straight and nice looking. Interior is clean, and has a cd player.

It's wierd though, I'm not sure if it's an SE or not, it says so on the tag receipt, though. It has the rear spoiler, front lip, and the teardrop wheels like gr8bryt's, but has manual door locks, manual windows, and no sunroof. I've never even seen a usdm hatch without a sunroof have you guys?

I got it to crank up but it sounded rough and would not go into gear. It's sat in a carport for 2 years, so I think with some fresh oil, spark plugs, a new radiator and a new battery it will run ok, and my father-in-law said he thinks the clutch is just rusted in place or something. hopefully I can get it on the road pretty easily.

I guess the coupe I've got at the house is Brandon's once again, but he said I could take the hood, bumper, and headlight housings for mine since he's going with the silvia conversion. My brother in law says he'll paint the parts if buy the paint.

So damn I can't wait to get started on this! pics coming soon!

I am pretty sure the SE means power locks and windows and nicer seats (or was that just the pignose with the weird alien seats?). go to edmunds.com or something like that and it will tell you...

Well guys and gals, I MIGHT be selling my s13 and either getting a 2004/2005 Subaru WRX or a '98-99 Infinity Q45 (of course tein spings & new struts (or possibly full JIC coilovers...), Cima grill, shaved emblems, and some nice 18x9.5 0 offset wheels (Fabulous, WALD, WORK, or any other VIP style wheel) and t hen just a nice clean interior and clean up the engine and fab up my own intake and exhaust....

The Q45 would be a nice car, but for around $9k stock and then $5k in mods....that means I have to come up with about $4500. (I think i can sell my s13 for areound $9.5K at least)....Well so many choices!!!

Ohh, and I just got my new SPL subframe bushings (solid aluminum). They are sexy as hell! I wish my dad was still in the CNC milling/machining business...I could of gotten them for free!!!

Well i said i was putting up my S13 up last night but i never did. Was too lazy. It'll be up there tonight though.

My grandfather in Switzerland is not in the best condition so instead of him and my aunt coming here my sister, mother and I will be visiting there over Christmas. He doesnt drive the Focus that he has had for about a year so im seeing if i could have him sell it and possibly give me the money for another car. Who knows. I DO however have still some money in the bank over there that i should be getting out.

so you have a swiss bank account huh? that's pretty gangsta.

I got a chance to piddle around with the hatch this evening, and I changed the hoods out and washed it. the paint is still pretty shiny under all the dust that collected on it over the last 2 years that it sat. I was pretty amazed that once we borrowed a fresh battery for it that it cranked right up. It smoked like a freight train, but eventually stopped.

Yea i do. Stuff's alot more expensive there. Like my 100 Swiss Francs = $73.67. Its very common to see shoes and that sort being around 200 Francs. However people also get paid alot more. My dad still has money over there from hockey but he doesnt care

Congrats on the new car James, post some pics when you get the chance.

Also, are you going to make it to columbia this weekend? If so I can bring the ring with me seeing as how I keep forgetting to drop it off at the mail box.

Has any one come up with an official time for the meet yet, I was planning on trying to get to columbia around 12.

thanks, I'll try to get them up as soon as I use up the rest of the film and get to a 1 hour film developer

bring the ring with you, I am about 50-50 on being there, also keep your cell turned on, since you're going early I may call you for directions if I need them

Sorry James, I only have a right fender. I'll call around to some junk yards today to see what's available though and maybe I can pick one up for you.

here's the pathfinder I got a month or so ago for a daily driver: (got it in Columbia where a bunch of yall are) I added the roofrack and the nissan tag on the front, removed a bunch of tacky stickers, and got most of the ugly pinstripe off (all but the really stubborn parts). This is the third one of this body style I've owned.
