Apparently there are a lot of ppl here in Raleigh that have 240's... I'm just not sure how many are on NICO. There are 2 convertibles that park on campus during the week too (NC State's campus).

What are your plans for your new car? (if you already stated them just point me to the page as I didn't want to read through too many pages lol)

Haha yea its alright. Im thinking of just going SR. I would love to go KA but for the price i pay for a good, low mileage KA i could get a SR. There is also alot of Aftermarket support for the SR also so it wouldnt be hard locating parts. I was thinking of upgrading the turbo to T3, Use a Custom Diesel Intercooler (Feb 06 Issue of SCC). IM going to fix the body parts myself aswell or atleast try for a 17 year old. Definately needs some paint but i'll just go with the stock paint on that one.

That's cool that you finally picked up the other 240. I'd say just get some seat covers for the time being, especially now that the weather is getting warmer. You all know how it is in the Carolina summer......... ! Leather seats will only exasperate things more for you, no one cares about the passengers lol. Hey ClubSX, I'm glad to see that your in good spirits man. I know you were going through that rough patch for a minute. That T3 and 16 psi should do well for you. Keep us posted on progress.

Hey Beatupsx, your SN is quite appropriate for your new car (at least on that suspension component anyway) lol. That's a hell of a deal, even if the seller didn't budge on the price. I've always been torn between a hatch and a kouki, but I'm set on my hatch and I agree that it will be great when we all get our cars on the road

Welcome Arrow, good to have another Carolina Niconaut in the mix. It's good to have more variety here in the forum, more is always better! What are you currently working on with your 240?

Well guys, sorry for the long post. I've been tied down lately with work and trying to finish up the semester @ school. I took my exam today and I finished the class with a C. The sad part is that this is my 2nd time taking the class, and I made a B the first time around. Oh well, I'll just have to make up for it next time around. I'm done for now and I can take it easy until the summer session starts in 3 weeks.

scs13- sorry I haven't got back to you sooner, its been a crazy weekend, I will hopefully have time this evening to download those pics, and then you can come down to look at and possibly get the motor any evening this week, or this weekend. I still gotta pull the transmission off, but that shouldn't be a big deal

beatupsx- damn that is a nice car. And a good price too, I hope you don't have any trouble getting a clean title on it. First thing I'd do after fixing the suspension is a 5 lug conversion, then struts and springs. So how much money would it take to get you to trade tail lights with me ?

clubsx- that car looks nice from the photos. So does it run? Is it better than the black one? congrats on the awesome deal.

Nah it doesnt run at the moment but i have tons of time seeing how i dont have a job and all i have after school is nothing! There is a dent on the Driver passanger if you didnt see it and that scratch on the bumper. IM hoping to be able to do the body work bymyself or with family seeing how my dad was a mechanic and my grandfather still is. That should lower the cost to put the thing on the road.

Yea i dont plan on using the leather seasts until i can find a driver's and im not sure if im going to have all the seats put into the project. I might just make it a 2-seater.

And about keeping updated as soon as i get a job i'll be making a thread on my project. Since i have no girlfriend for the time being i can spend all my money on a girl that wont argue with me.

Thanks guys

I'm trying to scan them right now. Having trouble though, I'm a little irritated with how slow this computer is running, I'm going to restart it and see what that does.

lol, I'll trade you the lights for your five lug hubs and wheels.

I got to see the car in person today and it looks pretty good, the only thing that bothers me is that the trunk lid doesn't quite line up on the drivers side, but all the other body lines and gaps look good. I'll be on the way home with it tomorrow.

Just don't worry about it, and focus on getting a drivable car.

(Disclaimer: listen to my advice at your own risk, I haven't had a relation ship last for more than a month in 3 years.)

haha. yea. i have to get my dads jack from my uncle so i can take these off, put them on the other car and then get my car from her house.

Right now as much as i love/care for her. i dont want to see her face. She's pissing me off right now and it doesnt seem she cares about my feelings at all. After she said we'd get back together. dont think im going to do it though. hurts but thats the price you pay. Funny though. Teen Girls always want the perfect guy but then when they have it, they take it for granted

Maybe you will feel better after reading this...

A store that sells husbands has just opened in New York City, where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch. ... You may choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband.

On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

Floor 1 - These men have jobs and love the Lord.

The second floor sign reads:

Floor 2 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, and love kids.

The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, and are extremely good looking.

"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going. She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads:

Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, and are drop- dead good looking and help with the housework.

"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims,”I can hardly stand it!" Still, she goes to the fifth floor and sign reads:

Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop- dead gorgeous, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 4,363,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please.

Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store. Watch your step as you exit the building, and have a nice day!

I thought was a pretty funny e-mail too. I had received that @ my job a few weeks ago and I'm leaning towards saying that it's the truth. Just when you think you have all your bases covered, she still says that you overlooked something. I just try to take it in stride and smile. My wife can be so much of a stickler at times about stuff, but oh well, that's how relationships go I guess. That's another reason that I'm ready to get my 240. Whenever she gets on my nerves I can just go out and do some work on the car and have my own Utopia.

That's a really clean looking S13! Are you just getting the front clip from that car or whole car. It would be cool to get the wheels off that car, the tires don't look too bad either. Too bad I don't have a car to put them on right now, otherwise I'd see about making you an offer for them (pending that you do get them).

Any of you Raleigh guys know of a Yellow colored Hatchback. I seen it around a few months ago on Capital BLVD. I believe it was at Burger King or something like that.

Thats a great article! Very informative and detailed. That Zenki-->R33 was fabulous, all it needs is some bigger shoes, although he probably already has them.
