scs13- there they are. I don't know why my computer has been such a bich but it took me hours to get those downloaded. This was obviously before I removed it from the car and the pictures suck, but you're welcome to come see it.

Are you going to cut that car???????? wow. that sucks. Maybe you should sell that one whole. I guess I always imagined the cars more ragged out than that. Why does Japan condemn cars so easily? Anyways, wherever the clip comes from I still want one, so let me know when you get it ready. So what about that S15 steering wheel.

you drive a hard bargain. but.. no.

Brandon- hey I tried to call you earlier- I sold the Maxima today just so you know.

time for a moment of silence for an old friend-

Ofcourse. Nico's a not just friends its FAMILY.I'll just send you all the email or something tomorrow. Im going to watch hockey and sleep.

IMO, Japan gets rid of low mileage vehicles because of the population. The way i see it is they have so many people and so many cars that they have to keep the atmostophere as clean as they possibly can. My grandpa bought a Yanmar tractor (from japan if you guys dont know) and it only had about 500 hours on it. Thats my opinion.

My Grandfather has a Yanmar tractor and that thing just won't die. No matter how much we beat up on it. Actually the Cat dozer he had died but the tractor still lives.

James now you can go get your RB26

I've got good news and bad news:

First the good, I'm now the owner of a black 5 speed kouki(woo hoo)

Now the bad, I have to go back to florida this weekend to get it.(damn)I would have brought it back but uhaul wanted $431 to rent a trailer, I nearly shat a brick. So, we weighed our options and desided it would be cheaper to drive back home and borrow a trailer from a friend and go and get it this weekend.

Its a minor set back, but I have the cod title so I can start working on getting a clean or rebuilt title for it.

On the engine- I think the head is fine, although I would replace the head gasket and valve cover gasket. I don't believe that fire was hot enough to melt an iron block and head. I'm just hoping that between your motor and this one you can make a good one. Just let me know if you want it.

Hey man, I drive a faded bluish purple hb... My car is currently parked in the Varsity lot (aka storage).... still trying to get it to cooperate. Which 240 do you own? I've seen a number of nice ones driving around and/or parked at storage and along cates ave.

i REALLY dont wanna replace the headgasket. do you think its very likely that that would definetly need to be replaced, thats a **** ton of work. damn, i really want to get my car going but i dont want to get myself into something else again. i guess i should research and try and find out what all will definetly need replacing.

i really wanna go to formula d but its on a week day isnt it? i might have to be working until 530 then, unless i could find a way to get off early, which i would rather not do.

oh and no problem man, i hope i was able to help you a little bit. dont know how much help i can give though.

If I can find someone to ride with I'll go, my s13 is in pieces, I doubt that I'll have a title on the s14 before then, and gas is to high to drive the truck.

where is formula d 2 meeting anyway? not like I would be able to go, but it would be nice to know lol... I think that it would be cool if we all could arrange a meet sometime this summer and if we meet w/in an hour or so from Charlotte I could probably go! (preferably adfter July 4th b/c I'll be out of town for all of June)

Oh, and man that is bad what happened to your car... I really hope that you can get it running w/ the least bit of work and money put into it possible... fires are no fun nor reparing the damage... GOOD LUCK!

I don't think it's bad, I was just trying to cover everything. Honestly I've had the engine under a tarp for like a year now, but when i first got the car everybody told me it looked like it could be fixed, but I just lucked up and found a parts car w/a complete motor WITH a 5 speed, so I took the easy way out. I wish you could do the same, but this is all I have to offer right now. I think the motor is fine at the core, you just need to clean it up and add your wiring and accessories. ALso, I don't know what happened to the exhaust manifold, but I can't find it. I'm assuming you have one though?

formula d is on the 12th and 13th, which is a friday and saturday. Friday is usually practice, with the event on saturday.

so beatupsx, you got that car home yet?

Arrow- yeah that is my car, the before pics. I got it for free like that from my father in law. Then I got a parts car with everything I needed to fix it plus a 5 speed transmission conversion. I've put a lot of work into it, but I have a pretty nice S14 now for cheap.

In case anyone missed it, I finally sold my 95 Maxima, but now me and my wife are shopping for another one to trade her ford escape in on. Then we'll be an all Nissan family. We've been looking at 03 through 06 Maximas and 03-04 Infinti I35's. I'll post pics when we settle on one.

are you gonna be able to take those picture for me or not? just wondering because i would like to come down there in the next few days if possible and i would like to have those pictures. could you take a little less for it if i end up having to replace the head gasket? what caused the fire again and how long did it burn for? was the car running great before that happened? as much information about it as possible would be much appreciated. i would like to get this going as soon as i can.

believe me, i wouldnt be cutting it up if i didnt have to..It is alot harder to bring in a full car...I get alot of the stuff off the car though, such as the lights, trunk, seats, carpet, wheels & lsd ect...From what i am told the reason why these cars are sold is due to the fact to keep polution down because it is highly populated..and you have to pay a tax on the car once it reaches a certain year/miles and most of the time it is more then the car is worth so they just sell them..O btw im not in carolina right now im in florida until tuesday so that is why im not responding quick.
