NC FOLKS: **Scammer Alert: '90silvia/90RPS13/Alec Bradford**

local papers and all the news channels have been notified and i spoke to a couple people over there who seemed pretty excited to hear the details.

heres an update for you: i posted in alec's threads on the "other forum" and that got a response from him in my pm inbox promising the rest of the refund... then i was banned so i cant see his reply.

The staff over there can pull their thumbs out of their as*ses at any time and take the appropriate action, but highly doubtful it will.

it really reflects on a site that there are members like alec doing business without any fear of reprisal, and whats more the administration either doesn't care or supports this kind of behavior.

I was going to delete my account anyways once my problem was solved (either way), but i guess they saved me the trouble.

i just joined today but ive been following this thread for a bit now. i just wanted to comment that ive been a member of Z ilvia for a short time and ive had no problems with any business over there and the information on the boards has been extremely helpful. i just dont think you should say Z ilvia is **** cuz of 1 person. i think both nico and Z ilvia and any 240sx forums are very informative. i just wanted to leave a msg that just cuz some ******* is ruining ****, its not the sites fault, nico still has his account active too... but on a serious note, i do hope this ******* gets his face beat in. i almost got scammed out of 4k myself recently and im still pissed off that i put some trust in someone with my girls savings account . be careful who you deal with online, nico,Z ilvia,ebay, its all buyer beware.

If a forum is knowingly allowing, and therefore assisting, a scammer they are defenitly at fault.

It is true that in reality the buyer must beware - but it sucks that it has to be that way. I bet 2 or 3 people recieving 5 year sentances would bring internet theft to a screaching halt. But thanks to our friends on the far Left society must be leiniant and show compassion for criminals because the poor need to drive sweet cars too so stealing must be tolerated.

almost forgot to mention: as recently as last week, he offered to pay me back in full and spoke of refunding another member as well. i still have a private msg in my inbox on Z ilvia, but my account was rendered inactive like i stated above so i cant check it. I dont know that he checks his email but that is the only method of contact i have for him since he doesnt have a physical address, so now im in the dark again thx to the admins on the "other" site.

Yes, even if he had only stolen a couple hundred dollars (though like d!ck said he has stolen much more) he should spend time in prison. That's how our criminal justice system is supposed to work. When we start saying "well, it's not THAT bad a crime, they shouldn't have to actually be punished," then our system becomes completely ineffective. Then you have to start figuring out how to draw lines. Say he stole $300 and shouldn't be punished. So when do you start punishing people? $500? $1000? $10000?

See, that stupid comparison is a perfect example of what passes for rational thinking on the Left. If you saw the pictures of Alec you will see a guy who is in good health and obviously not on skid row. Yet his stealing of car parts is compared to the theft of an M&M. A loaf of bread is the more common example when one wants to portray criminals as having to steal to eat.

I've got news for you - the typical theif in America doesn't steal in order to survive, they steal because they are scum who think only of satasfying their basic urge to take what they want without regard for others.
