At least everyone knows who he is now. It's always good to have + feedback from other members and also people that can verify that the seller isn't a scammer. I always love it when someone gets what they deserve... things that go around, always do come around in one form or another... even tragic accidents. I hope you get yours..scammer.

wow. this really sucks. i hope everyone gets their stuff straightened out.

fyi - being scammed is no reson to turn around and do the same to other members. i pretty much constantly have stuff coming and going, i really pride myself on taking care of everyone i do business with the best i can. if there's a misunderstanding, i try to provide all documentation (im very thorough ) and i will make up for it if im at fault. ust ask anyone ive done business with.

hey guys, if you feel you have been scammed by alec bradford, please contact me asap. i am compiling a list of victims and their info at teh request of the authorities investigating the matter, and i also plan to feed this directly to the local police in greensboro.

guys do me a favor and register at carolinanissans.com and let the mods know what you think about alec bradford. they refuse to let me post anything regarding him in a negative light on their site without corroboration. if you could, let them know how much you appreciate proven scammers.

also, to report him to the greensboro NC police department, fill out this form.

if you have a complaint, please let the police know about it since alec wants to tell everyone hes working on it while doing absolutely nothing.

is there anyway nico could adopt a sort of seller rating similar to ebay, like under the avatar. Hitman anychance of this. So ppl would have a rough idea of what kind of person they are purchasing from. For instance..

If what you get what you purchase and is what its supposed to be the seller gets a good rating or a 1-5 type of deal. You could click on there name in a post and it would take you to their profile page and you could leave a rating.

I dont know it just seems like forum scamming is really getting out of hand, and it makes things harder on sellers and buyers.

Im sure you guys will come up with something. I really hope you guys get some kind of reimbursement for your stuff. I love Nico and all the ppl make it a great place to learn and buy parts, it just sucks that a few assclowns want to mess it up for every one.

there is no good way to impliment that on a forum. Unlike ebay where you enter into a contract with both ebay and the other party to abide by ebay rules, the classifieds forums are just that. They function the same as classified ads in a newspaper. If you see an ad for x in the new york post for example, if you have a problem with the party that posted that add, all the paper can do is pull the add. Its about the same here. With private sellers Nico can lock/edit/delete their threads and ban their account but thats really about it. Dealing with a sponsor is a little better because then greg can revoke their sponsorship which hurts a little more and gets more publicized. Honestly the best you can do is search the name, look at the threads created by them/about them and see if there is any reason you might not want to trust them (i.e. some guy with 4 posts). I never buy anything from a seller unless they are at least a somewhat established member of Nico. Even if say, for just an example, d!ck had never sold anything on Nico before. I wouldn't let that stop me, because he has a well-built reputation through the rest of the forum even if that were the case. Keep in mind that while its not always a rule, how long someone has been a member and how active they've been is a good indicator of their reliablity as a seller.

We go a step beyond that.

WHat these scammers fail to realize is, they've committed interstate fraud. Believe it or not, the authorities take this seriously.

We provide the aggrieved party and interested authorities with the user's IP address, email addy, and some other bits of info we can pull (I have no problem dropping $40 on a Public Records Search for a scammer's personal info).
