Nice work so far. FYI, I put my oil cooler for the p/s in front of my radiator also, and it began to overheat when I drove at highway speeds. Not that yours will, just a heads up. I moved mine to the side of the frame-rail like a side-mount intercooler. Haven't had the issue again.

so i've got some update pics and hoping to get this thing lowered and aligned within the next week. i had to install spacers on the front to clear the z calipers. I started with 3mm and that wasn't enough, it cleared on the drivers side but still touched on the passenger side. then i went to get 5mm spacer and my friend mark at the wheel shop informed me that all he had was 5/16 roughly translating to 8mm, so i put those on and i clear everything but maybe a little bit too much. the wheel fitment is +18 front and rear but with the spacers on the front it puts me at +10. idk but something has to give, and i think i'm gonna order some ichiba 5mm spacers that come with longer studs. well enough rambling here's the pics.

so i think im gonna lower it a bit more front and rear, try and get some tuck fitment :dblthumb: lmk what you think

I think you should ask for advice here:

Other than the wonky fitment(which I'm confident you'll get figured out) the car looks good.

why should i ask for advice??? im still gonna go a heck of alot lower and roll my fenders and possibly pull them too. plus i just ordered ichiba front 5mm spacers to get me back to +13 in the front instead of +10. so moving the front in 3 mm and i went ahead and pegged the camber plates all of the way in on the front coilovers too but that was after the pics were taken. trust me i've got he*% of alot of adjusting to do on the suspension! thanks for the link though i saw alot of badssa fitments.

Right on I'll have to keep that in mind. I've already got the Eastwood roller and we did the rears before it went to paint. Hopefully the spacers show up this week and I can try them out and also get the front and rear lower by about 2 inches or so.

Yup. It drives, not sure what else he plans to do besides take care of the alignment/wheel fitment.

He's got no traction with 315's in the rear though! And it sounds amazing!

Some quick and dirty shots from earlier tonight... (click the pics for full size ;) )

Looking awesome Josh. Definitely need to get those wheels to tuck in a bit though. If worse comes to worse, you could always look at getting the deep concave forged wheels from Advan or something instead of deep dish. I called you last night. Motor took a crap on me today. Call me when you get some time bro.

stock final drive?

i never had traction issues with my s13 w 245s...i really think stock final is too short.
q45 is too long, i think a j30 would be perfect.

It must be the stock gear ratio because I know GSRacer also spun 315s pre-supercharger.

Thanks for all of the comments and yes it has stock 4.08's! Does the j30 rear have an LSD? I forget aren't they hard to find w/lsd's?

all infiniti j30 cars had vlsd standard.
i'd grab a j30 and swap it out over a weekend and see if that helps traction...power isnt fun if you cant get it down!

I love the J30 Diff. I spun 245's through first and second all the time on the stock S13 open diff. Switching to the J30 diff made a big difference.
