This is her when I first picked her up
Image
Image

UGLY interior.
Image

I removed the tach, swapped steering wheels, swapped in S14 seats, did the headunit wiring, removed the nasty cloth on the door panels, had my gf make me a banging bandanna shift boot and cleaned the **** out of everything.

Image
Image
Image

I ended up swapping wheels with my friend which brought me here
Image
Image

Then got a system together..

Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

And got this
Image

Added some Cusco Comp S's..
Image
Image
Image

My favorite 'stage' that the car was in

Image
Image
Image
Image

Rocked it like that for a little..

Moved the plate
Image

And got this stuff

Nismo mounts(for sale)
Image

OEM tob
Image

Then bought this
Image

Painted..
Image

Then I got the car up on jack stands and started tearing her apart
Image
Image
Image

...
Image

And I'm left with this..
Image
Image
Image

Old
Image

New
Image

Started cleaning the bay
Image
Image
Image

And got a short shifter
Image

Got it all back together and running...found out the trans I bought was shot...so back onto the jackstands it went and a new trans was put in

Image

Fixed and primed the hatch
Image

Done

Engine..
Image

Interior
Image

Also got this
Image

And this
Image

S14 seats hurt my back(was in a bad car accident) so I swapped them back(dirty I know)

Anddd around here is where the engine blew....not even 200 miles after it was swapped

Image

The engine was 'refreshed' I pulled the usual stuff off didn't look bad so I put it in. Turns out revious owner RTV'd the s*** out of everything(front cover, oil pan, upper front cover), and it came off on the inside and completely plugged the oil pick up tube...

This seems oddly familiar
Image
Image
Image

Bought this..
Image

Together..
Image
Image

Started some porting on the head
Image
Image

Pre surgery
Image

The start(again)

Image

Then it turned into a full build

Image
Image

Decided to do all black suede so started that..
Image
Image
Image
Image
(still needs the insert done, doing it gucci)
Image
Image
Image
Image

Pulled the carpet and stuff
Image

Painted the dash bar
Image

And dyed the carpets
Image
Image

And got some diamond racing 15's..(for sale probably)
Image

More stripping
Image
Image
Image

It was fully wire wheeled, don't really have any pictures of it..

Then primed
Image
Image

Rust cut out
Image

Hatch primed almost done
Image

Sound deadening
Image

DCC bought/wired up
Image

Relocating the fuse box under the dash/by the toe boards..

One half
Image

Andd the other
Image

Stripped most of the s*** off the firewall...did I mention I'm stitch welding the inside and engine bay also?
Image

Main harness work..

Image
Image
Image
Image

Fuse panels I'm using..
Image

Diagram I was working on

Thanks guys, there's still tons of work to be done and some more pics I need to get up. I just picked up a new camera and fisheye lens too

Engine bay currently..

The previous owner fubar'd this car bad, I was able to pull the rad support and front wheel well off by HAND, yeah, by hand. Scary haha so I decided to redo it all...I hate shabby work

Haha yes, way too many wires. I've made tons of diagrams and stuff to try to stay organized but most of it is in my head lol...I think I'm at like 60 wires right now..it's a headache

Thanks everyone for the compliments, I've had this car like 2 years, it's been down for almost half that haha but I love it

Progress might be a little slow...parts wise; just quit my job like 3 weeks ago and even me being 18 it's so hard to find something out there.

I really like what your doing with the suede

ive always wanted suede shift boot, arm rest, and door cards for the longest time, but i sat inside an AMG mercedez today that had suede pillars and roof, and i fell in love, so theres not one doubt in my mind that i will do that

The suede is like my favorite part of the car lol. I'm going to be redoing a few pieces, including the dash, I'm getting a new HUD dash to go with my cluster so I have a full hud setup and I want to do red stitching on that and the door panels.

And yes vh45de, from the strut towers forward is going to be tube, and maybe in a year or so if I have the money I have a TT setup with V mount I've been thinking up

If you dont mind me asking, what kind of suede are you using? Are you using the legit expensive a** suede, or just faux suede from a fabric store?

also, what are you using to make the suede stick on without coming off over time? im not gonna do my dash, door panels, or side panels, just the door cards and the pillars, and probably the headliner

i know for the door cards you can use 3M adhesive spray, and you can probably do that to the pillars, but what about the headliner?

Thank god you fixed that rust its dangerous.
Are you still goint with the z32 break and z33 track rotors? Are evo bremos any better, if they are id just get them since you need to get new brackets anyway.

I used microfiber suede from a seller on ebay, it's 100% poly, 62" wide $10 a yard. Adhesive is 3m Super 77 and the cluster is a stock HUD cluster

And yes z32 calipers/z33 track rotors seems to be the plan, unless I come up with the money and I'll just get some Brembos off a STI.

Brembo's will be better then the z32 calipers, but they both are a lot better then stock
