Picked these up from a buddy. They are in great condition, the black paint is still in great condition as well, so with a little cleaning and a few touch ups, they are ready to mount. Now I just have to finish the pignose lip :)

Yes, 180sx OEM sides, still with the OEM paint.

So the brakes are bled and its ready for an alignment. I am also going to put the skirts/lip on and will have some good pictures up in the next few weeks.

180sx skirts? Maybe I'm not fully aware but I have type x skirts. Aren't those for the Silvia?

Well after searching through google, I found plenty of 180sx sides like these. But regardless, they are the OEM Urethane side skirts..

Nice find. Are you thinking about rear valences to go with the lip and skirts?

I would love to, but I really haven't even looked into them yet. Suggestions? :)

Well I picked up this black dash, its in great condition. It will probably chill in the basement for awhile, as I still have to find door panels and a few other pieces. Whenever I find them, I am going to order some new black carpet and possibly a brand new black center console. But I really want to be able to drive my car for the summer, so I'm thinking that I am going to wait till fall to do all this..

I also finished the pig lip.

I wasn't able to get it in for an alignment today, so I am going in next Monday and will get it aligned...finally... and then will bolt on the lip and skirts :)

I see, regardless of which skirts they are they should look awesome on that sexy 240.

There are plenty of valance replicas out there, or you can source some used oem ones from ebay. Btw: skirts probably won't look right without anything in the rear. I'd probably wait to get something back there, THEN slap on the skirts.

This alignment keeps getting pushed back (out of my control), as we only have access to it on Monday nights, But having the rack for as long as we need to make as many adjustments as we need is worth the wait...

So I started to clean up my little 1 car garage now that the suspension is done. It made a mess. So this is my before picture, I am going to put another coat of paint on the walls and frame a few posters I am going to have printed, expoxy the floor, and take all of the tools and etc that I wont need for the summer to my tool shed. I also bought a nice steel workbench to replace the black crappy plastic shelf thing that came with my house when I bought it... and hopefully in the next year I will have some nice lighting put in..

Image

Hopefully I will have it on the rack next monday :tisk:

Pig lip and 180sx skirts. Quite a good combination if I say so myself. Some sort of type-x rear would be icing on the cake.

There aren't very many options as far as hatch valances go, you're pretty much limited to type x rears if you want to stay under $150. Bomex makes a rear valance but it's hard to find, as does G-Grow, but you're not going to find one in the US and it's not worth the trouble of ordering one from Japan (ask me how I know). Supposedly Nismo made some valances but I've only ever seen replicas, and they aren't the most attractive things out there.

Moral of the story...go with the type x haha.

Lol, I appreciate that. I honestly never really have looked into to buying aero for this car until the last few months. I would love to stay with OEM pieces, so thanks for the recommendation.

Well I finally got my car on the alignment rack. :) We also used the shop's power brake bleeder to finis bleeding out my brakes.

The car feels great!! I forgot how much fun it is to drive...and how quick it is (now that I'm used to driving my DD all the time..lol)

Its very obvious that my brakes out perform my tires :chuckle:

But I'm just happy to have it on the road..

I am supposed to get the Valances in tomorrow, so I will have some pictures of them up soon, and no they are not type x valances.

But my arm is still healing and I have another session on the 26th, so the lip, skirts, and valances might have to wait till my sleeve is finished and can get dirty again..

I like how the rear tires are cambered. My 240 was tucking tire with excessive amounts of negative camber and I didn't like how it looked. Not to mention the nice premature tire wear I would be getting. I ended up with just about the same look at yours, not tucking tire and a nice amount of tire contact patch. Good job sir!!

Well I painted the valances and finally put them on this morning. I found them randomly on ebay. I cant find exactly what they are, but they were listed as "180sx chuki zenki jdm 3 door rear aero valances". They are replicas, but the fitment is good and I really like them so far.

Here the picture from the listing..

Thanks, and the car feels great. I cant believe the difference, that master bushing kit was a pain in the a**, but worth it.

I just ordered all of Stealth Custom Fab's S13 products, so I will have another update soon with more pictures.

Cool, I can't remember, did you end up cutting your subframe bushings? it really does make a difference in suspension geometry when you raise the subframe.
