well i got tired of the sh*tty primer i had, so i invested in a power sander and sanded the car down to steel....took a long time lol

after doing some looking around i found a nice booth will some pretty talented painters, and worked in a good deal with for a pretty basic JET BLACK paint lolwell i am going to pick it up in a hour so i will post some pics asap....

Nice start dude. Body looks really good.

Sucks it has brown interior, but that's super easy to change.

Did you do anything about the wiring yet? It looks a little messy, lol.

badbob, I love what your doing to that thing. you have almost the same setup I do except cooler, and I have a feeling you're only going to get further ahead of me in that respect as time goes on.

at the thread jack....I've heard that kind of talk before. it came from a dsm guy when he got beaten in the 1/4 mile by my friend in his 240. I hope that isn't hitting too close to home.

Nice progress man the new paint is fresh as hell!
I feel it deserves better(+more attractive) wheels but its not my money or my car =) Just my opinion. Do want to see them ON the car though!
Keep up the good work mate

Get some wheel spacers. You will be super happy with how the wheels sit.

While it doesn't fit the "typical" modded Sil-80 look, I LOVE it. (That's probably why... :) )

I'd go with a smaller tire up front, but other than that, she looks awesome. Nice work!

Looking super clean and the paint job definetely helps. A word of caution on those rims, I had the same kind and the fake rivets like to come loose and dissapear while driving...
Nothing catastrophic, is just you are going to end up with a few blank holes and it probably affects the alignment after a while.

Definitely diggin the black on brown interior. Wish my car came with brown interior. The new wheels kick it up a notch. Nice to see someone else likes 16's with a 55/50 profile, best wheel to to tire combo in my opinion.
