they are really really really hard to come by. I've made some good contacts here to help get parts after I move back to the states (in one week) but the prices are getting higher and higher due to the Yen to dollar rate. If HKS USA has closed its doors in the USA, then you know its serious! For every 10,000 yen I spend here, its really $126 when It use to be an almost 1:1 ratio...

Not yet, I'll get on it when I'm back in the US...which is in 1 week. I tend to loose focus on the Pathy when I'm not around it, but I've got a few goodies I'm bringing back with me from JDM land. I'll have some pics to post up soon enough. This week I've been focused on getting some last minute parts for one of the drift cars I'm planning on building as soon as I get established.

yeah, at the moment I can only find the drivers side headlamp. no complete sets. Once I get set back up in the states, what I might try and do is order what I can find, then offer up complete sets as they come in. I have to have people interested though, I don't have the bank account to keep a ton of things on hand with the hopes that someone will eventually want it.

Remember, there are two different type of R50 headlights in those years. Nissan Terrano, and Nissan Terrano Regulus (QX4 in the USA). Make sure you're getting the right ones.

Best thing if you could give me a car to compare it to thats seen here around in the states, im kinda curious on this.

honestly, I don't have a clue. Fueler is the only one I know of that has actual Nissan Terrano projector headlights installed. I know he is happy with the light output. Maybe he can shead some light on the subject. I would imagine them being a bizzilion times better than our rinky dink Halogen lamps though.

The Japanese HID lights are absolutely incredible. They light up the road like no other.

The stock halogens high beams in the JDM lights are great too.

Honestly, with the JDM HID's installed, you don't need any additional lights for off-road or anything.

In comparison, I drove a BMW X5 and although the HID's were nice, they didn't seem as bright or impressive as the Japanese Nissan lights.

Here's a pic of the cutoff to give you an idea... sorry i dont have better pics & my camera is very basic.

alright so here is the cleanest set I can find.

http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m77495599

the price is 30,000 yen which is $375
to have them shipped to my friends business its about $60
then to ship them to the states figure in about another $100-120

now, with the total cost of everything layed out, if your interested, let me know so I can have them ordered. I don't want to commit to this if no one is willing to pay to play.

^^ This post is amusing. haha Welcome to the forums Nasa.

Curiosity though, is the story with these headlights? Are they pulled from Terranos? They seem pretty popular according to this thread. haha

Thanks

I think they are projectors and that is why they are so popular and rare to find

I see those lights all the time. I've been off this forum for quite some time now (sorry about that) and I've been ubar busy with building both my Rally car for spring 2013, and my wife's S13 drift car.

so some updates. 2 weeks ago I receive a package from my friends in Japan. They finally found the corner lights (almost $200 for both before shipping!!!!) but I had to have em for the swap. Here's some pics.

Oh, and before anyone asks, the new grill is from a company called Eurou, cost was about $250 before shipping. I've found a couple more used for cheaper, so if your interested, I might be able to get one, maybe two more.

I see the 96-99 Terrano headlights and corners forsale all the time, and are much cheaper and way easier to come across. I've ordered a set of Bilstein front struts from too, They are about $450 each, but they're adjustable. I havn't paid for them yet so they're sitting at a friends house waiting to ship. When I pay for them, I'll take the risk and order up a set for the 96-99 body and see if anyone is still interested here on this forum. If anyone wants a set for their 01-04, just be aware I searched for almost 2 years just to find a complete setup, and total cost with shipping, and Yen to Dollar rate, I think I paid about $600. If that doesn't scare you off, I'll see what I can do.

The grill guard has been there for a few years, but its coming off soon in favor for a full metal front bumper!

lol! I would like to see just the grill painted black. Would be awesome for my intercooler if the front bumper was something like that!
