Hey fueler, what all did you have to do to wire these up? I don't know if you already had seperate connectors for your low beams and high beams, but the Pathy's have one single connector since its a duel low/high bulb. I'm sure its nothing I can't handle, but any insite will help make things quick and easy, and help out any others that want to do this conversion.

If I have to do the conversion first, I'll write up a tutorial forsure.

Its the exchange rate my friend, the Yen is stronger than the Dollar. Everyday its slowly and slowly getting worse to.

The low beans take D2S bulbs. I didn't bother looking at the high beams, but I'm guessing a H3, or a 9005

I just checked www.currencyconverter.com and for every 10,000 yen I spend, its really spending $123.49 !!!!

So I found a set for the 96-99 R50's for 18,900 yen that I'm bidding on right now. That's about $234.00 without any shipping tagged onto it. figure about $50 to have them shipped to me, and another $50-70 (remember I'm in Japan) to ship them back to you guys...and you can see where I'm figuring my numbers from. Thats why I say, figure about $350-370 as the worst case. if your comfortable with that, then any price I can get them under that would be a bonus on your part. I'm not asking for anything on these either, if and when I get a set, I can forward the links to you if your questioning me. Now if you want to pay me for helping out since I'm a "hook up" in Tokyo, that would be nice, but I'm not going to tag on anything unless you feel its worth it.

hows the light output/look/cutoff line on these babies? Is it like the higher end car projectors seen around here in the states, or better since maybe japan has different laws on how its projected and stuff?

Best thing if you could give me a car to compare it to thats seen here around in the states, im kinda curious on this.

honestly, I don't have a clue. Fueler is the only one I know of that has actual Nissan Terrano projector headlights installed. I know he is happy with the light output. Maybe he can shead some light on the subject. I would imagine them being a bizzilion times better than our rinky dink Halogen lamps though.

are you looking for a drift car? If so, I've got a friend selling a wickedly custom built FC3S with a CA18 swap. I think he's putting down something like 280-300hp.

Ya Sicwitit, I have the 97-99.5 style Qx4. My headlights are square. The headlights you just bought taper at the top coners for the hood. They wouldn't fit in my truck. As for the price. Would us Canadians get a better exchange on the Yen? Not that I'm complaining about the price, just wanted to know if it would make a difference.

Ah...ok, you have a qx4. That makes sense since its in your screen name. I for some reason thought you had a 96-99 pathfinder? I've seen a couple sets for your year too, in the same ball park price ranges. I'll put the word in my friends ear to check on what he can do for you. as far as the exchange rate goes, its almost the same really.
