with all the recent buzz reguarding headlights, I figured I'd post up a couple pixs of what I found in a local junk yard. I got away with them for about $80 each. Before you ask, If there was another set, I would of nabbed them too to offer up here but this was the only Terrano I found, and have seen in a junk yard in the last 6 months.

So.....I think I found another set...at almost the same price

anyone interested?

the ones on Ebay are of the QX4 shape, and won't work on Pathfinders. The ones I have, and the ones I just found are for the 99.5 to 2004 pathy

nice find! Keep us posted and let us know how they turn out. I'm in love with my JDM projectors - my favorite accessory on the whole truck!

I guess I should buy just about every pair I can find for your clowns? I'm leaving for Thailand in a week and will be back early next month. I'll let you guys know how many sets arrived at my door.

Thanks for all the interest guys, the more sets I find, the more I'll post. It seems like the most interest is centered around the 99.5-2004 pathfinders, so thats what I'll focus on finding. If anyone else has a different year, hit me up and I'll see whats available.

yeah, but those look like it's for the "gen1" Qx4 R50 97-00.
the "gen2" Qx4 R50 has the integrated headlamp (headlight + corner + turn)

I don't know where to find 'em but your next option is a retrofit. I got mine professionally done for 850. It could be more or less depending on your options. PM me for contact info.

Two things:

SBK - Is your retrofit complete? I'd like to see pictures of a professional job.

and

Donald - The 2001 QX4 already has HID style headlights no? And if your's doesn't, its definatley available.

They should be here June 6th. The shop I ordered from was in the middle of relocating when I placed my custom order. Usually they're done in 3-7 business days. I will definitely post pics. It's an FX-R Retrofit, this is essentially the output you should expect.

Poor halogens. LOL. HIDs are a must for me. I've always had 'em, and I'm stuck with halogens on the Pathy for 2 weeks! :tisk:

Anyone have updates?

Hopefully we'll spark some life when I post my retrofit pics. Hopefully we can set up a groupbuy if there's enough interest too!

Update:

So my Japanese friend came back from vacationing in Canada today and I talked with him a little bit. I only have a couple days before I leave for Thailand though so I won't be able to have any sets of lights in hand before I leave.

I want to give you all a worst case, I'm seeing these lights go for 8000 yen to 15,000 yen each (100-170 in dollars)

so, with paying for them to be shipped to me, we're looking at $360 pr set before shipping them state side. This is worst case at getting them for 15,000 yen each. If this is the highest they are going for, is everyone what wanted me to source them a pair still game at these prices?

Jon

BTW, if any of you would like to stay in better contact for sourcing them any JDM parts, Facebook is probably the easiest way to get in touch with me since I can't log into this forum from my work computer.
