My First 240.

Well heres an update. The night before halloween was the first time I've ever parked it in my street and not the driveway. So the next morning when I came out to get on my way to school, this is what I walked up to.Someone from the apartments from across the street backed into it out of their driveway and didn't leave a note or anything. So a couple weeks went by and it went in for body work. It costed $800 to take out all the little door dings and all the body work and for him to primer it. This how it was when I went to pick it up from the body shop.He wanted another $1500 to paint it. So I started to think I could spray it in my auto body class in school. I've painted a little bit of things in class but never a car, So I decided to go for it. Right now its in prep work for paint. I dont have pictures of it how it is right now but i'm in the process of sanding it all down with 220grit right now, then on to 320, then probably 600-1000. So hopefully it turns out nice .

You got ripped off... I had the same size dent at almost the same spot and managed to pop the dent back out but not to normal spec. After that, a little bondo and it will be okay again.

It wasn't $800 for just that dent. They took out all the dents. The passenger side of my car was just peppered with door dings, and the drivers side had quiet a few in it too.

thanks hopefully it should be done by january, since I only have auto body for 2 hours a day.

awesome build! I reside in Nor-Cal so I know how you feel about the smog laws. If you ever got SR, just keep the ka motor on hand when its time to smog. weekend swap every two years isn't that bad

Thanks man. Yea I have a lot more plans for it but its hard when your 17 and no job hahaha. It will be getting coilovers when taxes come back. After that It will be real clean .
