either swap out to the q45 maf or to a mustang cobra maf....they work really good too and you can get a weld-on plate for your IC piping if you wanna do blow through

ok guys. im here for some opinions. i wanna run slicks w/o braking axles so which do you guys suggest i get? am i able to just swap out the old ones with the new ones and that's it?. also, i wanna run a twin walbro set up to be able to run more boost. im still currently running about 17psi and making 506whp with tomei 740s at about 65 to 75% duty. and i should go in for a retune and raise the rev limit to about 8200. please let me know what you guys think. thanks. heres a couple vid links and pics of my baby. i havent posted any since the build sorry.

If you put the RB25DET tag in your vidz people will find them on youtube easier. Why not step up to the Bosh 044 fuel pump. I know 1 of those flow more than 1 walbro pump by far, CarlH whats the flow for the Bosh 044 again cause I'm feeling lazy again.

300lph free flow, 200 lph at 5 BAR with a 12v source.

Nice car man, it sounds great. You make me really miss mine, yours sounds almost identical to what mine sounded like, just f***ing wicked! Hopefully she stays healthy for you!

I love the wheels. Did you roll and pull the rear fenders yourself? How did they turn out? Rippled at all? I couldn't get mine perfectly smooth, but then again I'm critical as hell.

The exhaust sounds mean too.

hey how did you wire in your electric fans? Did you use the stock wiring harness where the old fans were, or did you run an external harness and use a temp probe?

Temp probes suck and fail easily. Get a fan controller that uses the ECU coolant temp sensor wiring.

Nice build. Don't know why I didn't peak in here before. Beefier axles/diff/hubs out of a GTR or GTS4 but I realize that might be a little harder for you to get than me. I don't know if they have anything equivalent in the states. 506rwhp out of a GT30r at 18 psi? Man, I want to get on that dyno! Little on the friendly side me thinks, but still a really nice setup!

Nissan coolant temp sensors also suck too, so that's why I have one fan running off a FAL fan controller and the other being controlled by the ems. What's cool about the ems is that it can also turn the fan on above a certain RPM so the fan isn't running when you're starting the car...

sorry OP to thread jack but this is good info!

So if im using a power FC can i control the fans from that? i just have a crappy radiator probe controller from autozone. whats the best way for me to control my fans using the power fc / stock temp sensor, or another method?

hahah thanks matt. glad you like them. i had the fenders rolled with the hub attached roller. they turned out pretty decent considering there was some bondo on both fenders. but i did max out the flare w/o getting a dent in my quarter panel also there were little signs of ripples.

hmm i hear ya on that but hey. these guys are really cool and honest so i give them trust. the numbers sound really high for the boost level, but if its all legit anyways, its impressive to me. thanks though, appreciate it.

Awesome , thanks man. BTW, im in love with your car. I've got a red S14 and i planned on putting those wheels on my car one day and i must say they look friggin insanely good. And i love black cars! Its really clean and simple, looks great. Hope mine runs that good and makes that much power one day! Ive got an RB25det Neo in mine.

hahahahahah thanks a mill man. yeh i do agree with you though. i love the oem body im just missing the sideskirts and lip, although i do want the oem jdm body. but i like mine now, semi sleeper but just clean and sleek. 25 neo? sick sick. just make sure when you do decide to make a lot of power to do it right and legit the first time. it'll save you time and money in the long run. goodluck

Sorry, I have a aem ems, I don't remember if fan control is possible with the rb25 pfc/datalogit.

It is not able to. Get a Dif fan controller or AEM EMS .

eh? You have had OEM coolant sensors fail? In the 5 yrs I had the KA and 4 years I've had the new on on the RB, I've never had one fail. I had the radiator probe type fail on me in less than a month. Couldn't figure out why, but I think it was from vibration.

i have had several aftermarket coolant temp sensors fail that i fitted to customers cars because they didnt want to spend the extra 5$ for the oem nissan one...they just dont last.I've also found that you can 'cook' the sensor with a good overheat and they never read quite right after that.

No not on my 240 but on the my G20 it did, it's pretty well known in all nissans they can go bad with age. I can have both fans come on at different temps with the aem but I'd rather be safe then sorry and have some redundancy with dual sensors.
