when i said custom LOL i seriously meant custom. James the owner from G Diemension had them custom made. he had some guy measure everything himself and make them from scratch. so im honestly sorry i dont know who made them but i know they were from scratch. and btw i bought his last set. he told me it took months for those to come in. but if anything if he gets more i can hook u up with a set probably.

okay heres my latest pic of the car running guys. i went in to dyno tune her and made about 430whp unofficial numbers. im having problems with the wastegate not dumping or opening enough causing my car to spike. anyone have suggestions? maybe the wastegate spring? iono let me know what you guys think. thanks. MORE PICS AND VIDS COMING SOON.

will it spike if you just run off the spring and leave the boost controler out of the loop? what kinda gate? what size spring is in it?

yeah it still spikes when i bypass the boost controller. i disconencted the boost controller and tried to run off of the spring and nada. it spiked to 28psi. it is a tial 44mm wastegate. im honestly not sure of the spring rate but i mean ****, why would it even spike to 28psi? its weird. i neveer changed the spring and the wg is brand new from 6boost.

Yeah that is strange it's almost like the gate isn't opening at all if it spikes just going off the gate. Are you getting your vacuum from the intake manifold?

im using vacuum from the intake pipe on the turbo side. you mean for the boost controller right? because the wastegate is hooked up through the intake pipes and so is the boost controller. only vacuum i use from the intake manifold is the boost sensor vaccuum.

as intake i hope you don't mean the pipe entering your turbo.

You'll want a reference off the hot pipe or compressor housing for the wastegate.

sup ricky, umm i meant the hot pipe going to the intercooler and as for the compressor housing, it has no nipple for me to place a vacuum hose. sooo iono? but what do you think about my wastegate, even w/o the boost controller it should still stop boosting at a point no? it spiked all the way to 28 psi and kept going, as if it never eve n opened and its brand new.

yeah i meant the hot pipe on the intercooler pipes befor the intake manifold and intercooler core itself.

yea defenantly the issue lies in that wastegate (hopefully). I would pop the top off and see what spring you have in there.

iono are they? hmmm ima try changing the spring rate 1st. and for my meth injection atm no, im not using it, was thinkin about selling it but iono i think ill rather keep it and make a bonus number from it. only downside is, i run power fc with maf so i cant switch over maps w/o data logit so if i run out of meth while away im screwed.

Nice build!

Good luck with 10 -7's on a stock body... either lots of camber and 225's with a pull... or cut/pull/fill (the fender split) might make them tuck in there (which would be awesome)

This is from a guy's 180 build from here on Nico... this is what I ment by the cut/pull/fill:

thanks everyone, but let me say this now, i did expect a lot of you guys to say it has much more potential. well it does, i made that 506whp on just 17-18 psi. the engine set up is capable of making much much more, but the main issue right now is the fuel and ignition. the engine was begging for more fuel to make more ends. also, its jus tuned for daily driven and safe with extra breathing room. so at least its acknowledged. but cmon now, not bad for gt30, and the s***ty fuel pump i got right? but for sure next tune, ima upgrade fuel and ignition jus kinda short on money right now form the s***ty economy. but besides that, thanks to EVERYONE for all the help in the past, and big props and thanks to James from G-DIMENSION in City Of Industry. they did pimp asss work! ever need to get good work done hit up James. im glad its finally done!!! she mobs, roars, and screams all over the place spinning 3rd
