DjPants- you up for hanging out this weekend? Looks to be cold but dry.I don't know the "cool" hang outs though, so if you've got ideas, let's hear them.

i definately do not know, the cool hangouts.... but i am always down for hangin out. A few weeks back someone pulled out in front of my coupe, so the front end needs a little work, but insurance needs to gets me my chips, with dip....

anywho, i can roll the hatch, which is just a nice stock 95 KA with an auto. I'm very interested in checkin out your car though, and i might just have to roll the semi-crashed coupe for my own fun, i'm sure i can get the headlight working quick...

as far as where we should meet? no idea, anywhere is fine. I used to intern at John Haley Motorsports a few years ago. Its in st louis park, and on saturday they are open til 3 i believe, but its an industrial area and we should have plenty of room for us, plus we can always check out the shop, which is always a treat. it was also the birth of one of the first successful rb26 240 swaps in america, and definately the first in minnesota.

edit: nismofly, its interesting to see you are so close, but yet, it would still be one hell of a drive.

well if its just gonna be us they definately won't care, especially if they think you are interested in dyno tuning or something. Plus I know both the mechanics, plus three more that dont work there... and they both have nice cars. If you know where JHM is then around noon tomorrow sounds good, i just hope i'm not too hungover...

Its been nice to finally meet up with some fellow 240 enthusiasts lately. We need to get an official meet together in the next month or so. Sundays are my best day. April 9th Rock Falls sounds like the next opportunity, so maybe we can continue organizing from there. Anyone let me know if you want to caravan out to Rock Falls.

Some nice folks on D-town are hooking me up with some new body panels, and i'm considering taking both 240s out to rockfalls. It would be nice to have a support car with extras and tools, and other things....

Ajax's car is quite nice, and i higly recommend taking a look at it. I just need a ride in it now. I had to do a gang of schoolwork, which is far less satisfying than riding in a balls to the wall all motor KA....

Saturdays, Sundays, Fridays, i will go anywhere. Someone mentioned going out to University and meeting somewhere. So we can have a bunch of 240s slower than the bunch of srt-4s that will be right next to us... i'm down, we'll just say "But, its a neon."

I just think of the times on back country roads in Missouri when a mustang would come up fast behind me on a straight, then slow down for the turn, then he'd have to catch up again. Suckers.I'd be up for heading out to University I suppose. Also, DjPants- Could you check on one of your spares if you can find the specs for the crank pulley bolt? I'm still trying to figure out where to get a longer replacement for the harmonic damper.

it looks to be an M16x1.5 bolt. The bolt's thread length itself is 2.15 inches long, and the washer appears to be .3 inches thick.

so just add what you need on top of the 2.15 inches. You would need to compare the thicknesses of the fisher damper and the stock one. I could also get that too you as i obviously have a pulley around

I know kinda what you mean, i did theatre lighting for two years in highschool. Way too time consuming sometimes...

Depending on a few things, including the possibility of repairing my body work, i still am planning on going to this.

It would be nice, as i said, to have a support 240 with spare parts, a jack, and some tools. I might be willing to provide this if we do head out.

yeah, like i said before im down to meet, and work on anything. i got the tools to do almost anything, and i got lots of spare DE parts.

so lemme know when you wanna hangout.

i agree with paintballpro. i wanna go to some DDs next season. my ms13 needs to come apart this winter. So pending my ability to get student loans.... i should be getting coilovers, tension rods, tie rods, welding the diff, and going high compression.

but first i should be dynoing my intake manifold vs the xcessive motorsports manifold courtesy of Ajax. And then hopefully start offering this service

I'm new here guys/gals. A few weeks ago, bought a '95 240sx w/82K miles on it. The body is in rough shape, dents and scratches here and there, but that'll get taken cared of later. Suspension and engine is STOCK for now.

I already have a s14 sr20det swap planned, so I'll need to sell the KA24DE engine. If anyone wants to buy it, let me know so you can go for a ride before I yank the engine out, therefore you'll know it runs well.

If you have parts for sale either for the car or for the s14 sr20det, let me know.

See you guys/gals around.
