It fell off over a bridge in four lane traffic.... I'd rather not have risked going out to get it hahahaha. Plus it would have been stupid hot still. I ordered another one last night, hopefully will be here tomorrow so I can get my exhaust done and start looking for a fresh set of wheels.

How did your DP "fall" off? That just seems a little ill to me. Just asking because I really need to hear how, lol. It sounds like some of my kinda luck..............

I've been riding around for 3 months now with just a downpipe not even bolted up to a hangar, so it's just been jumping up and down when I go over big bumps. I guess all the wobbling worked the nuts on the flange loose and it fell off. It was my own fault really, hahah no good man.

Thanks for keeping interest guys! I appreciate it, and it keeps me motivated :DHahaha, hide your daughters.... oh man. I'll have to post up a pic when I get my car in a good spot hahahaha.

Anyway, I've decided I'm completely sick of sunk in front wheels and I cant stand it any longer. So until I build my dream set of RS' I'm gonna order a pair of spacers to make the front wheels at least somewhat flush for the time being. However, I need YOUR opinions!!! I can't decide if I should go with Project Silvia spacers or Ichiba? Help!

Thanks!

I would go with the Ichiba spacers!

Either one are fine. I'm running project kicks 25mm in front 25mm +3mm spacer with stock steelies. Wheels are flush. But I would recommend 30mm in the rear.

P.s. Nice build

My rears are pretty much flush already. I just want a spacer for the front until I get a set of rs' on.Those PBM spacers are legit as f*** but it seems like it would take forever and a day to ship... Maybe I'll call them tomorrow.

Spacers aren't happenin', I changed my mind on what I'm doing.

Anyway my exhaust came in today so I did that.

But I didn't like the muffler so I cut it off and got a 3.5" pipe to replace it.

And it's a long story but my exhaust hangars and brackets are on someone else's(?) car so I had to make my own.

...and overall I'm really pleased with the way it turned out:

I'm thinking about cutting out the resonator though because I don't like the way it makes the car sound at higher revs. I prefer the raw scream of a straight pipe with no bull s*** going on in between.

I also made my skid plate out of that real estate sign I posted a while back... and it turned out pretty good for what it is.

I had painted it a metallic purple color but it got all messed up so I just did black for now. I'll paint it purple again when I feel like spending $8 on a can of spray paint is a good idea.

There were some other things going on as well which I'll try to get the pics up this week.Drive safe.

I like the muffler idea, its like a buddy club, did you weld it on?

The buddy club exhaust is what I've always wanted, but I will never ever be able to understand the reason to spend $400 on a straight stainless catback... there's just no point, so I made my own haha. The cat back was $120 shipped. The pipe was $10 at a local shop. This setup just seems much more practical to me.I thought about welding it on but I decided not to because if it is too loud to pass inspection then I will have the convenience of being able to swap it back out to the muffler that came with the exhaust.

Also, if anyone can tell me what wire or pin coming from my ECU is the "ignition signal" it would be greatly appreciated. I cannot get my bee*r to cut ignition at any set limit and I don't know why. It is wired according to this diagram http://www.kouki.co.uk/referen...nouts ; and I used pin #45, Black/Red wire labeled "ignition switch" according to the diagram.I posted up a thread about my problem on zilvia since there aren't many people on NICO using this unit to help me. Here is the zilvia link:http://zilvia.net/f/s-chassis/....html

I agree on the exhaust-they are overpriced, so how did you attatch the muffler?

i posted in your thread on zilvia, thought i would post up here to. i havent used the bee-r myself but im pretty positive the reason it isnt working properly is because you used a kouki diagram when you have the zenki ecu. im willing to bet if you re wire it according to the zenki diagram it will work correctly

Exhaust clamp torqued to f***. You can kind of see in it the picture.

Yeah I saw your post, and thank you for the input. I actually didn't use the bee*r diagram because it made no sense to me and their pinout looks nothing like my ecu, so I used the pinout that I have been using on kouki tech (the link I listed a few posts ago) and just matched the wires with the proper wire on the bee*r unit. The only thing I can think of is either somehow I am getting a bad connection (doubtful) or there is another ignition "signal" wire that I am unaware of.

After:

Sure, its nothing ridiculously amazing but the difference is ridiculously amazing. Pictures don't do it justice, it looks like a new paint job hahaha. We were both really stoked over the way it turned out. Thanks a million Jeremy!

Battles are good for cheap wheels. Can't go wrong with a 9.5 +15 :DHowever, I'm going for something more along the lines of 57C's or Uras NS01's... maybe even a set of Sterns???

I dunno, there are a couple of possible deals happening right now so I'll see which one pulls through. I would really love to have a set of SSR SP-1's but I can't see myself being able to afford 2k+ wheels at the moment.

I'm going 5 lug, and they don't make Elites anymore.
