Nope, not really good news other than the fact that I got my stock injectors and plugs.RFcool wrote:Damn Touge. that sucks bro. I saw you posted again on your thread and i thought you had good news.
Well at least you found a few problems that can be fixed, instead of getting these new parts and just bolting them on. Well good luck on yours.
I just got my nismo FPR, hotpipe with greddy bov, obx oil catch. But now to start putting some stuff on for myself.
Thanks for the concern man, I appreciate it. Haha, yeah that's probably one of my favorite pics as well. My friend came over one night and did a little photo shoot. He wants to do more once it's running.DriftBoy07 wrote:that sucks hard man sorry to hear, ive been keepin an eye on your build waitin for more! that is a badass pic of your car though lol
I'm not sure if it's a ground or not. My friend told me that it's possible that it is grounded somewhere else through the ECU, which would make sense, but then why would there be a loose wire? I just might have to go to the dealer for this onepauliedrft wrote:my ka only has one wire but for your engine i have no clue that is messed up . Will be watching to see what this is because im going to be doing the s-14 sr swap my self .Could it be a ground for what ever reason ?
i was confused at firstRin5 wrote:holy fck nut!! Stripes? lol i thought you were someone else till i saw your email info...how the heck did you change your tag name? n why?
don't take this the wrong way but i havent seen you post much before this last week and your always nut swinging for the rbplacham wrote:Man i was hopping u were going to say that you got an RB for that new 240sx you got,
Yeah man, things are finally coming together, thanks for lookin out. I'll update soon.RFcool wrote:YO!!! stripes or touge. or whoever you are. HOws that car coming? Getting anything figured out.
Just giving the thread a wakeup bump.
Thanks man, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.I still haven't figured out the speed sensor, I think I may have gotten a wire mixed up on the dash plug when I first soldered it.The only other thing I need is to figure out whats up with my turbo timer. It's getting power but it says .30 no matter what, and it just shuts off with the car instead of keeping it running when I take out the key.Rin5 wrote:props for that tie down...that looks pretty cool lol...
what else need be done? u figure out that speed sensor?
Thanks man. Haha, that probably won't be for a while. I would like to go back to my 550cc fuel setup and get a tune so that I hopefully get ~300whp when it comes dyno time. I just need a job to pay for things first haha. Being laid off sucks.pauliedrft wrote:Nice to see you have it going .I cant wait to see some dyno numbers and some 1/4 mile times .
i feel ya man...but yeah now that you have her drivin nicely my suggestion is breaking in everything...if anything you are the one being broke in...lol all your parts are meant to do what they are doing but your just fresh into the SR ...if you know any back roads then go have fun...actually cross that knowing DE the backroads are still probably icy....if you ever get to going to my house take the ramp on RT1-13 normally no cops and its a good 1/4mile flat to play around...and also on the way back its a good way to try out 2nd and 3rd gear cuz of the slow entering speed... thats what i did with my CA going back and forth...gave me the feel of tuning idle and timingStripes wrote:

Thanks man. I agree though, some clean shots are definitely long overdue. I'll have some posted up soon enough. In the mean time, here is what I'm working on.DriftBoy07 wrote:Looks good! We need some more pics on here yo, keep up the good work though.
