Yup, LoveFab will be releasing their RB25DET top mount equal length manifold sometime next month (March 07). I was going to wait until it got closer but with all the interest in manifold upgrades I figured what the hell. Anyway, here's the specs on the manifold:

1/2" thick CRS 1018 w/expansion slots1.62" i.d. tubing4-5mm thick 8 gauge 304 stainless steel or 316 stainless steel (for an additional charge)t3 flange or t4 flange with Tial 44mm external wastegate flangeif you want to run a Tial 38mm wastegate, there will be an adapter plate available for saleor if you're running an internal wastegate, there will be a block off plate available for saleall manifolds are fully tig welded using 100% argon for backpurging to ensure full penetration

but wait there's more......all LoveFab manifolds come with a lifetime repair warranty for cracking. For as long as you own your manifold, if it cracks at any point in time you simply send the manifold back to LoveFab and they will repair it completely free of charge. However, do not expect that this manifold is going to crack.....their failure rate is 1.6% and they have not had a manifold crack since September 2003.

Here are some pics of some of the manifolds they have done in the past, just to give you an idea of their quality of work

Sentra SR20 manifold WITH A/C

S2000 "Mini-Me' with A/C

S2000 "Sidewinder-GT1"

H Series "Sidewinder Version 1" manifold (YES even this manifold has the lifetime warranty for cracking : )

Pricing will be determined as the manifold is closer to being production ready but I can assure you that it will be a lot of manifold for the price you'll have to pay. LoveFab's website is http://www.lovefab.com

I can't wait to see their price on that unit. The 4-bangers mani's are probably the best price I have seen Period with the warrenty they offer. Wonder if it will be substancally lower that the Full Race unit?

O i bet so I am familiar with their work and it is like I said the best bang for your buck. I'll be waiting til next month to see all about it. I hope they manufacture this to work with Rb swaps in S13/14 chassis to eliminate any clearence issues.

as moderator of this forum, an organizer of drift events in arizona and an avid, regular drifter, i require one of these manifolds for inspection and testing. consider it stress testing under the harshest environment possible.

1 manifold could be some cheap advertising for you guys, think about it

lol....i don't actually work for LoveFab, they're using my car for prototyping and to insure proper fitment

as for testing...my car is daily driven all year round as well as raced (autox and road race) throughout the season....if anybody is going to break this thing it would be me hahaha

the rb25 manifold should fit the 20 just fine.

heh i dunno man we have events in the dead of summer

120 degree air temps right above track, thats HELL on an engine/parts. thats why every manufacturer worth a **** has proving grounds here in AZ (ford, GM, toyota, nissan, dodge)

nevertheless, im sure it will be a good product and worth the money. ill pursue them myself for a real sponsorship.

i'm glad our summers don't look like that

i don't mind the winter.....its not like it gets that cold (single digits at night and teens during the day)

as for the guy with the rb20....yes they are the exact same flange

I know the RB25 and 26 are just differing bolts patterns on cyl 3...any chance this manifold will have both sets of holes drilled like the full-race manifold??

Import Intelligence mountsR33 cross member (the only way to go )

i'm going to talk to them this weekend about a divided setup or not

as for 321....i'll ask about that as well but if its an option it would be an additional charge of course

It would be dumb for them not to do this.

Import Intelligence mounts??

Are you using a R33 with custom mounts or something??

The only other thing is will this manifold fit with all the other mounting options.

Because the turbo, wastegate or even the piping might hit something, with different setups.

Hey you know Kamin does have a point, 120 degree arizona weather, High boost settings to kick that beast sideways. hours upon hours running the motor would be a good stress test on that mani

I think Love Fab does damn sexy work and since they are using your S13 RB25 for fitement then hell I may have to buy one!

Sweet, that's awesome. My buddy had a LoveFab mani on his B16 a few years back and that thing was gorgeous and quality was outstanding!

I just talked to a guy at LoveFab via Email and he said they are test fitting the mani on a customers RB25 swapped S13. He also assured me that the clearance will not be an issue when the final product is ready for the manistream. I take it thats your car the R33 GTS-T?

RB26 mounting holes.....I can't emphasize enough

also T4 divided is almost just as crucial.

if you send me an exhaust gasket for the 26, i'll pass them on to LoveFab so that he can have his machine shop accurately drill the holes for the 26 as well. By doing this, LoveFab will be able to guarantee that the manifolds will fit w/o a problem

i should have an answer for you tomorrow

i'm using the r33 cross member (previously stated ) and the Import Intelligence mounts are custom

as for worrying about piping locations and what not, you're going to have to fab up a new hot pipe, a new o2 housing, and of course the wastegate dump tube (if you run an external gate)

the differences from one swap kit to another or even a custom swap are not significant enough that its going to be such an issue that you won't be able to use the manifold

I should have an exhaust manifold gasket set off my motor in my garage somewhere. The only issue is (which technically could be a non-issue) is that it isn't one big gasket for 6 ports, but rather 2 gaskets, each with 3 ports since stock it has 2 manifolds. So getting them mounted the exact way is what is strange.

But just an fyi...and I believe this is correct from looking at the picture of this manifold. The two extra holes that are needed are directly above and below the ones around cylinders #3 and #5 compared to that of the RB25
