yeah you're probably right. it might also make full-race drop their price to compete for the small and select market.

sorry man i just cant justify spending 1200 on a manifold that is so in-efficent... ill stick to the stocker for now

on another note, bump for this manifold to hurry and come out! too bad i know there is no way they will come out with this by the end of october, hell november for that matter either!

i've already got a manifold solution since this took so long, but i hope cody utilizes my old rb26 stock manifolds i mailed him and makes the manifold he produces dual flanged for the sake of his rb26 sales...

c'mon guys, Phase2 has a peak performance mani, that I've had on my 89 240 for about 6 months now. I think I paid like $800, but I also got a PFC and other goodies from them at the same time. I'm also running a Gt4094r on top of it. That was my only thing with this mani, it only came t4 flanged when I ordered it. But I was gonna put a monster on it anyway. So if you're looking for around 1K for a mani that IMO looks almost identical to the full race, Phase2's the place to check out.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. The peak performance is nowhere near the quality and tuning of the full-race manifold.

Is this Phase2 peak performance manifold for the 26 or just the 25 like most I see advertised on the net?

Got any installed pics??

i could do $1200 on a love fab manifold. maybe $1300. but im not spending anymore than that.

its just frustrating how cheap the SR guys have it.

I feel ya. I see all the KA and SR parts for half of what the RB parts are going for and it pisses me right off. Seriously, the full-race honda manifolds are like $1000 and the RB is $2300? WTF? Like it costd that much more to design it, tune it and build it than a frickin 4 cylinder bank? Jewish if you ask me.

If this lovefab manifold turns out to be a bust, I'll be more than happy with a peak performance unequal length runner setup with a divorced T4 flange.

I've been thinking on trying out a single set up myself. Can you hook me up with a link to this "peak performance" manifold?

I bet we could set up some sort of group buy and get a price like that from Full-Race.

I know there are about a dozen people who would jump on a full-race group buy from NICO alone. Andy (booztd3) was one of their guinea pigs on the manifold, if I remember that right, so maybe he can hook us up.

Sorry if this is a noob question, but why do those manifolds run two wastegates? You have to pay 2,300 dollars for a manifold, another 1400 at least for a turbo, and then pay for two waste gates on top of that?

Eff that. Is there some benefit for running two waste gates on one turbo?

The basic rule of thumb for wastegate sizing is 1mm/hp (correct me if I'm off). So, if you're looking to get 650-1000 hp, it will be hard to fit a single huge gate and its response won't be as good as two smaller gates.

Adrian gt - I'm sure if you wanted to coat the peak-performance manifold, you could bring it to any high-temp ceramic coating shop and get it painted black.

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i seriously doubt PP is making their own manifold. looks like a barely modded SSAC with some bracing and the wastegate flange cut off. that for an extra $850?

I agree that they look very similar, but I don't think the SSAC manifolds are divided. I think the runners come into one common collector and have a single tube on the side for the wastegate. The SSAC's that I have seen come with a single T4 outlet. I think the peak-performance setup is as good as you'll get without getting an equal-length manifold.

Abdo - thanks. I don't have any other in-car video, which I should have been banned for by now, but I will get some next spring .

I'd be down for that price but don't think it's gonna happen.

Yeah, I'm willing to throw in that amount of money as well. Lets start another thread called Full-Race group buy just to see how many people would purchase the manifold at that low price. Once we have done that, we can talk to Full-Race and see what their thoughts are on this situation. What will happen is either: A) We will all get super-cheap Full-Race manifolds and live happily ever after. Or B) The guys over at Full-Race will laugh their asses off at our demeaning request and we will get fooked over in the ayss.

Darius: Man I hear ya. The only video I've got is the startup, I didn't even give the viewers a rev, let alone drive the car on video. But I will surely do that once I get the RB to run right.

We should also start another thread, Darius for not having an extensive-enough video collection for the pleasure of the NICO Club members.
