well i can't give you too honest of an awnser due to when we got it installed the 1st time the car had a little front end damage so nothing really fit right, but it seems to fit good with it fixed, since i put it on the car runs a bit cooler and never EVER gets too warm so i'd say it's "good" but it has only been on a stock KA for about 3 months.

jk....i just always wanted to say that. teehee

I have a cxracing rad. 4 months daily , 3-7 hour drift days and 3 autocross's and it has worked great. My fans went out and it didn't over heat even a little.

haha do eeet.. better yet go purple.....

April/17/09 -

Hit a somewhat big hurdle. the downpipe i got 4 months ago is the wrong one (i THINK i got one for a single turbo ) so i need to order a 3" Downpipe for the twin turbo.... dammit. well here comes a RMM downpipe.

also the turbo's are being a complete bish so those are taking longer to get off then i needed/wanted. also we just got all new turbo line gaskets that should be here monday (thanks to Curt @ Elmhurst toyota) so hopefully we can finish up the turbo removal and install the new gaskets and put the usdm turbochargers on the motor, then start the wiring process.

got the Walbro 255 fuel pump installed. ripped out the cage and got that painted (not all done yet)

well got the USDM 550's swapped over, got the spark plugs changed out,the got the USDM turbo's put on and done. and modded the JDM heatsheild to "fit" LOL

got the motor wired up.

then went ahead and LIFTED

and dropped

it's a GREAT feeling to have it sitting in the car.

hey man, yeah it's getting closER....but still a ways out. gotta wire up the motor to the car (shouldn't be too bad, wire all the gauges, finish painting cage and installing it, finish up sway bar install and do a lil alignment, mount the intercooler run custom piping do all the heater hoses and what not, install radiator and fans and hoses....

ah still a longerish ways out.

We are planning on taking the car to a show saturday May 30th in sheboygan, and then to the track the next day for a fun raiser for a friend. so we got about 2 weeks left, plus we need to get an aligment done and get the car to Sound Performance to get it tuned. shoot for like 375whp on 15psi

Good choice on going to SP. That would be probably the only place I would take that motor too in our area.

I hope to see it on the road as soon as possible.

I have to put my coilovers & suspension arms on hold for a bit. I have to buy tools for my new job. I'm also working at rosen nissan now. The one on 27th n grange.

uhm i don't believe they make epislon wheels in 17's.

Best bet is to look for some older SSR mesh wheels (formula mesh, reverse mesh, etc) or some BBS,Rikens, etc. if you have about $2500-3000 call up CCW and get the Classic's or the new LMGT's

we got the Intercooler all mocked up as to where that is going

(not the air filter we will be using)

had to order a few other things (3" T-bolt clamps, and 2.5" T-bolt clamps), a Greddy Speed cut control (dam JDM Ecu's hit speed cut at 111mph so that had to be taken care of. some new DP bolts and gaskets, as well as some roll cage gauge pods...

went out last night and finished up the wiring and finished doing the fuel lines. hooked all the battery cables up. tried to crank it, and NOTHING s***ty. well we then checked to see if the starter had power going to it and it was good, then we found a connecter had 0 power, so we decided to go ahead and jump it to see if it started!

first click as soon as it hit it started! and ran awesome for >30 seconds it ran :D

today i will have to figure out why the wire is dead and make that work. finish mounting up the Intercooler, put the fuel filter in. and i will be happy if it starts at will :D then i'll have to start on the radiator and fans and the radiator hoses.

Nice man, glad to see its running

Ill be back home in 45 days, so it'll be time for mine to FINALLY go. What are u doing with your trunk, i was thinkin some sound deadening and sheet metal perhaps just to clean it up.

Im a little jealous how much easier it is to just drop a mostly stock engine in their, and not have to play around with all the custom stuff and standalone.

btw engine cover is sex.....

that is all..

thanks man, can't wait too see your car when it's done.

we did a few little things to this motor before dropping it in. i wish we would have went single due to having more room. but maybe later on in life.

as far as the trunk i'm not real sure i just want to get the car up and driving already.

Looking good, looks like you guys (and liz) are really holding down the midwest as far as epic builds are considered.

yeah, the room is definately nice lets you show off the ballin parts but once you go single, theres about 10 other things u have to do along with that, so when your on a tight budget your route is definately better ( i should of thought about that! lol)

yeah fair enough, i assume your relocating the battery to the boot tho.. ive been trying to find a good box lately that isnt hella expensive like SARD.

i just noticed u live in wisconsin, bro ill be coming thru there in september with my Sil, on my way down to Cali! It would be mean as to go for a little cruise.
