worked on the coupe some more over the weekend.



got the turbos off FINALLY.



Took a little interior shot.

also picked up a new Jaz oil catch can.

got the PTE billet 6265 on order should be here the 26th.

got the manifold on order, got the boost logic feed and return lines on order as well as a boost logic turbo blanket. woooo hooooooo.

got the new turbo!

had a issue with the manifold/turbo fitment but that will be settled this weekend.

got a big ole box of OEM toyota goodness on the doorstep this afternoon

look for alot of updated pics in teh coming days.

hmmm did some more work.

i blocked off some coolant ports and what not.Got all the heater hoses and what not hooked up.i blocked off the port on the engine block and started running the oil feed/return lines.

took a pic of the new turbo

got some parts laying around.

the girlfriend assembled all the turbo and manifold/wastegate stuff.

just waiting for my new exhaust manifold gasket from myJZswap.com then the turbo setup should be ready to go on for the last time. but had to do a mockup to see how it was gonna look.

did some work on the coupe.

Liz plumbed the wastegate/boost controller.got the manifold all on and set. got all the oil feed/return lines done.got the down pipe a few days ago and wrapped that and installed it. also used some heat wrapping stuff on the fuel lines and the heater hose. made a sheet metal cover going over the ugly passenger factory battery tray. tightened up some wires/hoses that weren't 100% done. plumbed the oil catch can lines but haven't put them on the valve covers do to still polishing them. Also made a bracket for the new earls trans cooler.

placed a order on Sunday for some new couplers got the wrong length one with the last shipment, so got to wait for that,also ordered a 4" Intake pipe. gonna plumb and mount the oil cooler next weekend. and put the new couplers on, also ordered a Eagle auto 160amp Alternator, hopefully that will keep all the electrical gadgets working. planned out how to do some of the ducting to the oil/trans coolers. so that is still on the too do list.

also did some spring cleaning on the daily.

got a new shipments of parts this week.

got a new 2.5" 90 degree coupler to go from the turbo to the intercooler pipe. got 2 4" couplers for the intake pipe, the intake pipe showed up as well. also got a new eagle auto 160amp alternator should help the car stay awake better then the old 100 amp one.

also got some stickers from Touge Factory.

this weekend's plans -button up the transmission coolerfinish the intercooler stuffoil changeput on the polished valve covers w/ new gaskets and tubes.and prime the system for start up..... i hope.

thanks man, exhaust is a 3" Megan OE Type 2. car is pretty quiet with the exhaust on. which is good.

updates? YES!

Got a whole bunch done this weekend.got the intercooler piping all squared away and cut all the couplers to fit. made a custom 4" intake pipe and couplers. got the HKS filter on there as well. Got the Tial Blow off valve all plumbed up. got the trans cooler all done and did some custom ducting to the trans and oil cooler. got the bumper on (kind of) got the valve covers all done and installed as well as a bunch of other little things that needed to be done. and at 2:15 AM sunday morning it FIRED UP! wooohooooo just need to take care of a few little issues we are still having with the car.

Yeah its gonna get tuned at SP.

right now the car has stock cams,injectors and a single walrbo pump so i would be happy with 475-505 WHP on 93.

with a injector upgrade another pump and larger lines i could see mid 500's on pump i'd love to do a E85 setup on it later this year or next year and crank it to low 600s on Corn gas.

The SC is pretty much stock it has a K&N Drop in.....

if the motor ever lets go there will be a 2JZGTE going in it's place....if money allows.

had the car out a little bit this past weekend, car kept dying though..... found out the Alt. fuse went out. so i ended up getting a few fuses to make a larger alt fuse.

put maybe 8 miles on it on Easter but 3" open downpipe and 70 degrees outside means pissed off people so we parked the car, should get the exhaust on this weekend, and lower the car some more as well.
