Thanks alot man it really means alot! It's been a long road but it's slowly getting there.

As far as hwy goes, i can't say i saw you out there unless you were in your Q? I'm usually out there with her in her SC, if we don't have the coupe out. The R35 GT-R that's out there is my buddy Tri's car. Car runs 10.6 @ 136 cars pretty nutty. And yeah Kevin picked up a 03 Track 350Z in Daytona blue, car is really nice...he still has his 240 too.

Coupes look sexy from the rear. Nice stance.
thanks Matt, it means alot coming from someone who has built such a high caliber s13.

well the car has been "done" for a few weeks. put a couple hundred miles on the car. still have a few issues and kinks to work out but so far it seems to be doing pretty good.

took it up to Road America last weekend and watched a few friends do some lapping, we were planning on running the car, but the car won't currently go into overdrive and it hesitates to shift sometimes so its not track ready yet.

I love going to track days even if I'm not getting seat time. Pretty much a free car show, and if you're at the right event you're watching crazy cars run laps.

Must've been hard not to go out on track haha.

Big thanks to Stefan (eidK) for helping us out getting some awesome oem parts. got a new inner taillight where the sockets are so the drivers taillight doesn't flicker anymore. also got some stuff so the alarm works. as well as some new rubber mounts for the new Koyo radiator we put in over the weekend.

Took it to a friends shop for a dyno day. thought hey why the hell not put it up there see what it will do.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC29K5hrTq8

(As you can see/hear the car hit 2 boost/fuel cuts cause the guy's ran the car in 3rd gear instead of overdrive cause the overdrive was not working at this time. So it made 408whp 368Tq. on 15psi untuned with a bad trans and the break up)

we had a trans issue when we got the car back together. ended up putting a new trans in it (another auto) That still didn't seem to fix it, so we tried a friends ecu, that wasen't it. started going back through the wiring and found out the shifter/od wasen't getting power.

but now that it is fixed the car runs a WHOLE HELL OF ALOT STRONGER. (feels like with a proper transmission and no breakup like it gained an easy 40whp)

Car was out and about alot last year 3000 miles or so. put the hurt on a friends low 11 second second evo from a slow roll.

Had fun with alot of friends f*** up alot of cars, had some issues, fixed most of them... put the car on the dyno twice last year. realized this car does not like dyno's what so ever. had a problem in October where the car went super rich for no reason. shut it off pulled off the road, ever thing seemed fine, started it back up car was fine. I limped the car home, parked it and the next day started it ran super rich (9.8-10.4) shut the car off, and got pissed parked it for the season.

her it sits currently.

started doing some minor body work, pieced together a Silvia s13 front. (Bricks,OEM fenders, corner lights) and purchased a Chaser Aero instant gentleman replica kit. asked some body shops how much it would cost to fix the core support and the roof and the rear 1/4 panel (which are all damaged by the previous owner) got quotes from $3000-$6000+ OUCH!

so....

BUZZKILL. car's body is beat. car is missing paint due to the plans to do paint and body work, and motors torn apart. and the car needs new fuel system..... what to do...... what to do.......

BRILLIANCE! find a new cleaner s13 coupe shell!

:D

Hope there are no purists on here, if there are....... don't scroll down you have been warned.

SO!

with that being shown. the 2JZGTE/Aristo single turbo setup and all the suspension peices and some new goodies (750cc injectors dual -6an lines rail, dual walbros, aeromotive FPR,etc) and some new suspension parts by Fortune auto and some Q45 brakes will be going on this car :)

the old gray former 2J'd coupe will be the test mule for my new project once the 2JZ'd Coupe is done.
which will be a 1UZ-FE VVTI swapped S13. with basic bolt ons! :)

Man that car is clean! I would stay away from the Walbro pumps, we had a bad batch of them in the Buick world and they popped alot of motors because of that. You should get a Denso Supra pump. Good luck with molesting the new coupe :bigthumb:

Yeah, i have heard some bad things about walbro, but in my previous experiance's i've had good luck running them, i also don't believe i will have room to run the 2 factory supra denso's or bosch's in tank. It seems alot of the walbro's i have heard of failing is due to excessive heat and over using the pump past it's means of being useful. not sure how true that is, but i never let the car go below 1/4 tank just to keep the pumps cooler, we will see hopefully i don't turn into another number....

Got a bunch of stuff done on the two cars over the weekend.

Started off working on the 93 Gray coupe that has the 2JZ in it. We finished removing all the gauges and gauge wiring as well as the Greddy boost and speed cut controllers. and kept removing some of the other interior pieces that will find there way into the 89.
Image

Then starting working on the engine. pulled the rest of the fuel rail and stuff off the car, ready to be sent off to the next owner.
Image

Went ahead and finished messing with the majority of the wiring harness so that it is disconnected and ready to pull.

Image

Image

Pulled the new white car into the garage to start devirginizing the car.

Got all the accessories off the KA24E. just need to pull the radiator/fans and shroud next time we work on the car, and pull the fuel stuff off the car and unhook the driveshaft and it is ready to come out. hoping the weekend of February 5th the motor comes out of the white car. then cleaning and painting of the new engine bay will start!

Speaking of Walbro fuel pumps. I believe there was a bad batch a long time ago like 2003-2005 people had problems with them on the 240's for awhile. During that time, I had 2 pumps within a three year period. So #3 for me in a 11 year period. I also made sure my tank wasn't less than 1/4. LOL. Good luck with the car . ;)

I found the car on Craigslist in South Carolina back in November of 2010. i was on a rampage checking craigslist 5+ times a day within 500 miles or so of me, then i started looking 3 or so times a day nationwide. and i came across this gem only a few hours after it was posted, called the guy, organized how to get the car up to Wisconsin, the next week the car was brought here. i believe with the shipping the total came out to being just about $3,300. I was looking in the sub $3,000 Range cause i just wanted a clean car to start out with. and this was in my price range. I didn't get the car just cause of the low mileage or to piss people off. it's the price i was willing to pay and the mileage just sorta "helped"

most of the parts off the white car are spoken for, A guy in the Appleton,Wi area. and there is a guy interested in the 5spd swap stuff in the Wausau, Wi area. funny thing is none of this stuff was ever "for sale" lol.

there will be parts off this car that will be going up for sale periodically so keep track of this thread for more details.

Thanks man, that car will be a little more "tame" then this 2JZ build.

just doing a intake, header, exhaust, and a Mapecu2 as well as some nitrous. as far as power stuff, thinking silfront and widebody to fit some massive tires... time will tell? i might just do the swap and see how i like it before i do body stuff.

Flick, you can go a step higher than the Supra Denso Pump, I have it in mine, and the retailer I bought it from rated for 700hp. Hope this helps.

Nope, car is staying automatic, had a little issue early 2010, but have since figured it out. so auto it is. maybe getting some work hopefully within the next year or so.

MY girlfriend is actually from Menomonee Falls, i'm closer to the IL/WI boarder. The Milwaukee area has a pretty decent car scene.

- Kyle - Thanks, i got a good deal on the dual walbro setup, so i'll give it a try.
