Interesting to know its going around. What are they doing to treat it? Just letting it run its course?
The Doc gave me liquid lidocaine- stuff rocks, but tastes flippin' AWFUL. Also set me up with antibiotics, but they won't do anything for viral infections.

haha that's awesome.

But yeah, most are just saying to take cold/flu remedies and watching the water intake. I have never heard of lidocaine you take internally, though...

the lidocaine tastes AWFUL, but works well. I've learned that I can deal without it unless I'm breathing from stairs/some other activity or attempted to whisper loudly at somebody.
So glad processed food exists. I've been eating semi solids, hot/cold non-acidified liquids, and yogurt. Eggs are okay, but I can't do the toast. I'm really craving pizza...

When I crave pizza like that, I just find a nearby salad bar and pig out on it. Pizza needs to be in my diet less, and it shows.

Anyway, now I'm getting sick. It's hard to swallow solid food and have a sore throat, feel like I'm a tick off the mark of OK.

If you haven't seen the movie Captain Phillips, it's worth seeing. Just got home from it. Based on a true story.

Morning fellas. Spent the weekend in North Conway, NH. Drove the Miata through the "Kank" uninterrupted by cars, people, or wildlife at 11pm on the way up. A helluva hoot! Didn't crest over 60mph, erring on the safe side since we were driving in pitch black, but was a ton of fun regardless. Hiked a bit, rode some horsies, tried to figure out of horsies are more, less, or about as expensive as cars and then decided that they are definitely more expensive and will not be divulged into as a hobby.

Horses? The stable costs are kinda like owning a pool or a large boat.

All those hobbys suck your cash constantly.

Morning! About to go check on a rear bumper for the little beast, hopefully it's a good one for $50.

Then off to see a man about welding the spring bracket and attempt to find out what size shoes I have in the rear. I can tell that drum is gonna be a real btich to get off...

Bait-and-switch. I got the the junkyard and they told me it would be $100 for the bumper. I told them to call when they feel like being professional. Grr.

Boobs I have. Manly ones.

But I don't think even woman boobs would help with these clowns, they told me I must have spoke to another junkyard because no one there would possibly sell it for that low. What a bunch of fu*ktards. A new one is 160!

I'm trying the DIY yard again tomorrow. Maybe I can get lucky and find one near the aisle so I can get it put up so as to get the horns off easier...

If you see some horns from a buick or other 90's GM car that might be incredibly loud, pull those. They're cheaper.

Morning fellas. I made a new, long lead for my dog. Now she doesn't get all anxious and stuff when I'm trying to go through my morning routine to leave the house. She mainly takes it out as far as it goes (about 50 yards) and plops her a** in the sand and watches the field of grass. Silly doggy.

I couldn't do 50 yards with my beagles, 6' max. They'd be trotting happily along side or in front of me until they catch a scent. Then it's suddenly SQUIRREL....YAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOO and they lunge.

We have a remote control collar for our beagle, and sometimes even if he gets on a scent he won't stop when we have the collar cranked. They are persistent little boogers.. :)
