Damn, Dave. Remind me never to move to VA for ANYTHING. That inspection is WAY too stringent.

I'm gonna pop my learned'd cherry with this:

"s*** happens."

Don't worry - I will be here all week.

Yeah it does Ben. BOA is taking care of it at the least. The funny thing about it is that of the 3 fraudulent charges, they flagged Autozone- the one place that wouldn't seem suspicious. Hopefully they get around to catching the person since they weren't very intelligent and went to Sam's Club where you have to swipe your membership card in order to purchase from them...

Hey Brian, any anyone else-
Would you play Vick and Eli both this week?

Its a 2QB team, my 3rd QB is Kaepernick and he's been ineffective lately. Is there any harm that can come to me from playing 2 QB's playing each other who have equally s*** defenses? Would you play Kaepernick over either of them? Kaepernick hasn't thrown for over 200 yards in 3 games and is going up against Houston, who has a fantastic passing defense.

Both teams suck so, I suppose playing both wouldn't hurt. Hopefully this isn't kaeprdicks break-out game...

I'm gonna be scarce for awhile guys, moving and whatnot.

She connected with her on linked in, but hasn't msgd her or anything. Moving up to PA, staying with family for a little while while the job search continues. We have to be out of base housing by the 9th. Kate gets paid through Dec 1. So we have some cushion for awhile.

We have a connection in West Virginia, Kates the #1 candidate for a Ops Management/Scheduling position. Good salary and benefits. Just waiting on the word.

Anybody on here? I have one headlight not going on low beam, the high works fine, swapped bulb from non working side to working and low beam works on bulb, has voltage showing 12V between the correct pins on the connector. Stumped!

I'm trying the switch (somehow, it might be?). That's all I got. It's the truck, so yeah.

Wait...

So the nonworking side is getting the right voltage, but the lamp isn't lighting?
And the lamp does light on the other side?

Sounds like a crappy contact to me. I had the same problem with the driver side park lamp in my sister's damnable C-class. In the end, I just rewired the lamp housing myself and bypassed the stock connectors (which are, like EVERYTHING else on that @#$%ing car, senselessly overingineered to the point of being nearly un-repairable.

It wasn't connectors, I had the stuff to change those out already and did it. I'm getting better luck (8/10 tries) after "adjusting" the headlight stalk axially with a small hammer.

My firebird used to do that, too Dave. One day it started working correctly so I've been ignoring the problem.

Morning fellas.

Not a lot, had a long weekend, and one helluva hangover on Sunday morning. Mixed way to many hard liquors.

Got the final amounts on the ***holes who stole my debit card info. Grand totals were:
$152.xx at a Chilis!!! Someone must've tipped their friend in order to get the cash.
$99.xx at a Sam's Club gas station. Hopefully they had to swipe their Sam's Club card so they can be caught.
$42.xx at Autozone.

Hopefully these ***holes drive into the back of a semi truck and decapitate themselves.

You probably ran your card through one of those ATMs that someone had put a plastic reader over the card slot and camera over the pin pad. I always jiggle the card slot thing a little to see if I can separate the plastic guard from the thing when I use the cash machine. I've actually ran into one before...

Pulled it off and showed the assistant branch manager. I heard they got the guy at another place weeks later.

I got some work done on the truck today. :)

New rotors & pads in the front along with re-packing the wheel bearings with grease, and some new inner wheel seals, because the old ones were gross and snotty.
Then I replaced all the bushings on the rear leaf springs, what P-I-T-A that was, for real. I had to use the one pry bar I own that's taller than I am just to get the shackle and bushings back on the right side...

I must be a mental patient, because I kept losing the 17mm impact socket. It happened like 20 times, and every time it rolled down the driveway to the sidewalk. You'd think I would learn to stop raving about it and just put it in the case so it wouldn't roll around... Also, I couldn't figure out how to arrange my tools in a way that didn't require me to always travel back and forth between different sides of the truck. I think I need a cart.

My steering is kinda effing loose, I will be purchasing things to tighten that up soon as well.

Tomorrow I tackle getting the drums off and pressing out/in the lower ball joints in the front. I will probably be throwing a tantrum then too cause I hate brakes.
