Wow that is exactly what I need, the only thing I'm wondering is will it work on an S14, I've yet to completely determine if S13 and S14 STB's are interchangeable, cause I seriously doubt they make a CA strut bar for S14's, but I suppose anything's possible lol.

Thanks Razi!

On the Sandy concert thing, I watched about 5 seconds of it until some guy said something to the effect of "Oh our poor jersey shore, a place of 'coming together' was damaged..." at which point I lost all interest and flipped to one of the 5 channels that wasn't airing it... Anyone who tries to refer to the "devastation" of the Jersey shore in the same context as the Japanese Earthquake or Hurricane Katrina or the 2004 Tsunami (which is essentially what he was doing) doesn't deserve my attention, or anyone's IMHO.

Crap, I forgot you had an S14.
It may fit, but I'm not 100% sure.

Yeah, well we know the upper strut mounting points are the same between S13's and S14's, so the only difference would be the width of the bar itself. From center to center (just used the top threaded part of the coilover and eyeballed it) my S14 is roughly 42 1/4 inches across the strut towers. I don't have an S13 handy to measure, do you? ;)

EDIT: just did a bit of a search and the general consensus is that there is a width difference (although no one knows how much exactly) and that they are not interchangeable. Hello square one, you miss me?

koh you need SS lines like the chase bays ones. i think that would really clean up the firewall area.
and i just checked mine real quick and i got around 42 1/4ish. i have some negative camber tho, so its not totally accurate haha.
i know for my strut bars, you can adjust them, like you would suspension arms. idk the brand tho, they came on the car when i got it. they seem cheap tho.

Yeah, that'd make things a lot neater. Somewhere down the road I'll remove the booster, run a larger master cylinder, and hide the brake lines.
I really want to tuck my injector harness under the manifold, but it's already pretty cramped under there.

remember, 1 master cylinder per caliper :rotfl
i remember i tried to tuck the injector harness when i removed all the emissions stuff. i dont remember how, but it somehow ended up getting stuck underneath and i had to take everything back off. i though about just ending it all right then and there

Well, the difference in width of the entire bars is almost the same between the S13 and 14. But if you think about what it is they do, "almost" fitting it isn't going to give the same results, and drilling it out to fit will only hurt it's performance... but feel free to rice out if you wanna. lol

Yeah, slotting the holes on the endplates kinda defeats the purpose. I'll keep looking around at other options. Suggestions are welcome

My Greddy strut bar end plates are slotted a bit where the center bar attaches to them(it came that way) so i don't think that slotting the end plates would hurt.
Think about it,camber plates are slotted and they hold fine.

Edit: The strut bar also clears the valve cover by 1and 1/8th inches.

What up Ben? Hows your morning
My alternator belt committed suicide by getting caught and worn down on one side and turning itself upside-down and dragging across the pulleys. Was a fantastic start to the Friday morning. (grumblegrumbel, bitching, gumble grumble)
How the hell does that happen?

I second that statement. Its gone to s*** since then.

They're lined up. I think when the tensioner got loose, it put enough slack in the belt to let it twist and turn. So when I re-applied tension, it already had a natural path that it wanted to follow from the rubbing. I'm going to put a jam nut and some anti sieze on the tensioner bolt today when I get a new belt.

Happened to me once.
Alternator bracket got loose and the belt flung loose and took all the other belts with it.

Well, I got my downpipe fixed and raised a week or so ago and it's no longer scraping on stuff, so that's good. However, now there's a weird noise when the engine shuts off.
Turns out a part of the exhaust is touching the body now. >:|

Try a miata man, s*** tight down there. I know your pain though, I thought I had it squared away and now on hard left hand turns the exhaust will hit the body and piss me right off.

Sup learned'd people? I see we're talking about car issues/stories...Well, I've got one.

A few days ago while trying to show off my underpowered FWD kinda-econobox to my 3 friends/passengers, I redlined 1st....That's it....the pedal fell straight on the floor when I tried to abuse 2nd. Somehow I made it to a parking lot. I figured something had happened to the cable. What happened? It came off the bracket and was no longer tight enough to open the throttle body. Lesson learned: Stop showing off.

Anyways, I'm just here to brag about my straight A's this semester. How'd everyone else who's still in school did?

And by "problem" I mean "everything".

I was behind a lexus suv with a destroyed rear bumper. Bent exhaust was held on with a bungee cord well atleast the muffler was. I don't think it was even connected anymore since half his spare tire was black

Meh, i had a lot of s*** going on this semester. I was destined for that B from the start. Oh well, it won't keep me out of nursing school, which is all I really care about at this point. Only taking one class next semester but I'm working a lot more hours
