Off to sleep. Hopefully this is my last week of 1400-2300 and next week it's back to 8-5.

Check engine light is on in the LS. Says it's the MAP sensor. Car doesn't have one. TSB says it's either MAF or EGR. OEM Motorcraft MAF is $228!!!

Sounds like its time for a used piece off a forum. Why not start cheap? EGR's cost nothing to clean, and very little to replace.

I've been using these guys for awhile now, did my suspension/cooling system on the 540. Good service and the parts were all quality pieces.

I taped over the light on my Ranger.

I can feel that the LS isn't breathing right, so I'll have to actually solve this one. Idle's intermittently chunky and sometimes she stumbles under power.
Also she's due for inspection at the end of December so I kinda need the code gone too.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

No work for me. I get a paid 4 day weekend. Nothing like getting 8 paid days off my first year and none of it uses vacation time.

I get to start frying a turkey here shortly. I am quite confident I am going to blow my diet beyond belief today. I hate the holidays when I'm trying to lose weight.
