In my rural town most folks seem to have classic back hoes or old farm tractors with home made blades to move the snow.

Now THESE are hot.
Your job will be a cake walk for them.
Out of curosity- I'm confused about what I'm looking at.
Are most of these manifolds fuel injected AND carb'd?
Or are we looking at nitro injection?
Kinda on life support now.fiznowler wrote:Man been awhile since I been on here. I am not surprised to see the Learned'd threads still live on!
solely for idling and low end? The injectors come in when the engine starts to make serious power?sx moneypit wrote:Throttle body setup.frapjap wrote:WOW!

Good morning Ray !frapjap wrote:Morning Ben.
Do you have kids?
The throttle body sits on top of the manifold where the carb would go. It operates like any other fuel injected motor.frapjap wrote: solely for idling and low end? The injectors come in when the engine starts to make serious power?

Nah, hell i didn't get married till i was 40, and she said one was enough anyway.frapjap wrote:You think, haha.
Did you never want any? Or a case where your wife was plenty okay with just the one?
It's basically so you can convert a carburetor type intake to an EFI setup.frapjap wrote:I can't see the photos. But based on the explanation I'm guessing that its a plenum type manifold pictured?
Whats the benefit of that style intake vs. plenum style? Top end?
No baby that I know of lolfrapjap wrote:Nothing awful here. Why the hiatus? Baby?
That's the most common intake manifold for GM V8 motors. Even the EFI manifolds used TBI injection for the most part. The benefit is space under the hood. I can't say there is any power benefit to be had or we'd see that type of manifold still being used in modern day V8's.frapjap wrote:I can't see the photos.
