I'm hoping for the best for you guys. There is nothing fun about the constant worry. At least you're there as often as you can be. Would she be well enough for you two to have a short get-away soon?

Thanks Ray. Hopefully we can make a trip to St Louis to visit my older sister around Thanksgiving or maybe a trip to Atlanta to see some friends.

It is a tossup between one of my ski trips to Breckenridge and a stay in Puerto Vallarta.

Work all summer then winter is sorta free. Do lots of work when I am home and then try and do some whenever I go. Motorcycle racing is getting expensive though

What the hell is Night of the Iguana?
I read the summary, but it seems that the priest does not get laid. The movie cover is deceptive.
Maybe there is a porno version of said movie.

The lady friend has never seen Ace Ventura or Dumb and Dumber. An educational movie night is in the works.

Bought a new four-wheeled gas-powered toy today. Unfortunately, the battery appears to be shot. I got to play for about 5 minutes, and then had to turn it off. Went to fire it back up again and the engine wouldn't turn over. Spent a short while troubleshooting until I realized the battery may be the culprit. It showed a full charge when tested with a multimeter, but when trying to run the starter the voltage dropped insanely low. After sitting on a charger for an hour, it fired right back up again. That battery will spend the night on the charger and I'll be able to go all out tomorrow. I'm figuring I'll still need to replace the battery since it is brand new and seemingly can't hold a charge (hopefully will be replaced under warranty).

That is a sweet mower dude! Congrats! My brother-in-law has been working for Ferris for the past 15 years or so. I'm always screwing with him about Deere products being better. Until I get some sort of family discount I'll be a Deere guy.

Love Ferris mowers. The GF's uncle has one. They were a bit out of my price range, and I don't think I need anything quite that beastly since I'm only on a bit more than one acre. If I was living on 5+ acres, you can bet I'd have looked more closely at them.

Also, the Deere was purchased with the bagging setup (obviously) and the snow blower attachment. My driveway is not small, so shoveling is out of the question. And a decent snow blower would cost at least as much, if not more, than the attachment for this tractor.

Anyway, time to get the battery back into it and get to work.

Dude, snow blower attachment FTMFW! Friend of mine had a similar set up, we used it to clear off the ice for pond hockey.

It hasn't snowed yet, so I haven't had a chance to test it out. It also hasn't been delivered yet, but I should get it before the snow starts falling. I've got tons of leaves down, so I wanted the tractor before the snow comes so I can get the leaves off the lawn.

I looked, and a decent two stage snow blower would start at around $1500. Those are usually about 26-30" wide. The blower for this is 44" and is the same price. It's pretty much what drove me to getting the tractor this year. Even with a decent two stage blower, once I had a tractor I figured I'd be wanting to get the blower for it. That just seems like a huge waste of money to buy two different snow blowers.

I'm still a bit bummed the battery is a POS and I wasn't able to work yesterday. Other than that, it seems like a sweet machine, but I'll have a better opinion later today.
