my coccyx, knees, legs, rib cage, spine and neck9among other parts) hurt like a b**** coz i got pinned between the door and the center console.
the firefighters had to cut open the car to get me out.
i think i was very fortunate that didn't end up paralyzed or even worse, the officer said the car was doing between 40-50 when it hit me.

Afternoon!
I fired up the Miata yesterday and went for a quick shakedown run on very little boost. HOLY CRAP is it FAST! That tach just FLIES through the rev band- I was sooooo freggin' giddy. I can't wait to tune it (ran really rich to be safe) this week.
I also had the BOV on backwards, haha. I turned it around, revved the engine by hand, and blasted a s*** ton of pressurized air into my face as I was watching the valve move. It must've looke like something from the 3 Stooges.

In other news , i got to drive a friends 2010 WRX-STI yesterday.Nice car but i wasn't really impressed with the acceleration,i thought it would be a bit quicker.

I agree with you, WRX's and STI's never really impress me much. They feel okay in the speed section, but manageable. A corvette has a more connected sense of speed. And the handling, I HATE the body roll/plow in the Subys.

I also can't wait to race one and surprise the owner with a miata that can hold its own.

I've never personally owned a boosted Miata, but I loved my little 1.6 even though it was NA. On 10-12 lbs of boost I imagine it would have been complete animal.

Morning fellas.

The Miata only needs an exhaust to be ready for the cool temps of fall. Its extremely annoying to have to drive around and listen to the open exhaust belch out raspy notes, but its a VERY fun car.
