Just swapped out clock for the President version.Interior button lights were also replaced with Radioshack micro bulbs, now gives warm amber lights without the gel-caps.

Nice. I like that look a lot. Much more readable when lit than the stock gold-on-white Q clock.

Aren't the 90-93 Q seat controls different than the 94-96 controls? This is what the 94-96 controls look like and they light up without modification. If you have these ones and they're not lit, your lamps are burnt out.

Yeah, I like the AVIC (?) head units. One modification I may do if I ever get caught up on maintenance. Which adapter did you use and how does it work?

The navigation unit is Pioneer AVIC-D2, which I think is more convenient than D3 because you can play CD while using navigation DVD disc (it's got two separate slots for the discs).I had them installed in a shop, but I don't think it needed adapter.. maybe not

The clock was bought from Japanese Yahoo auction via http://www.rinkya.combut since being from RHD vehicle, the outside casing(the white part that goes in the dash) is different, so just in case you buy these, just swap out the old clock casing to be able to fit in your car.

BTW, I just realized that the dimmer switch had bulb inside too! Very neat

If you have the original Bose speakers and amp, he had to use an adapter.

If you don't notice a change in the frequency matching, he must have used a good one. Might check your receipt as it should be specified in the materials list.

Oh.... right... the Bose speaker.. had to get rid of it long time ago.

I have Alpine amp in the trunk and replaced front speaker with MB Quartz and rear are Infinity Kappa speakers.I did this quite a long time ago, so I completely forgot about it.The navigation unit was installed about a year ago.

Plus what color would you want?

for the micro bulbs no they wont work unless you know how to solder, even then it isn't easy. The instrument cluster uses 168 wedge type bulbs, mine has three 1w led bulbs and it looks like a lexus cluster it's so bright white.

these are wedge type http://superbrightleds.com/specs/bulb_specsHP.htm

these fit some of the twist lock lights http://superbrightleds.com/instrument.html

actually these look like they might work they just started making them, can anyone check the dimensions on the small twist lock bulbs???http://superbrightleds.com/specs/NEO.htm
