Thanks man and is there a way to change the title of these threads? This thread has taken on a mind of its own and think it would be useful to people if the title wasnt so misleading.

Sometime this week i am going to do a radiator fan writeup on my 95 s14 where all you need is some wire and the fans will operate under normal conditions and turn on and off based on temp. Dont know if i will do it under this one or not.

you can ask a moderator to change the thread title.

i just welded my buddies diff today. it hooks them mean haha.

and about the fan wiring... on the 91-98 the 240's come stock with an electric fan. the electric fan come on two ways that i know of. 1) when you turn on the A/C and the temp is too low it kicks the fan on and 2) when the engine is too hot it will also kick the fan on.

on the 95-98 they have a 2 speed fan. im not too sure if the a/c does one or the other or both, same with the temp. but i know that it will come on if your car gets too warm.

oh and for sure make a new thread for a writeup

Thanks for the info ive actually already wired them up. I Wired one for high and one for the low setting. I tried both for high and low but it backs up the current so it doesnt work. I was just gonna take pics so other people knew.

You may ask good questions but you make stupid comments. And the 70 dollar HID kit was definatly the point of this write up...Anyway, there is nothing wrong with angry eyelids on a zenki.

I was wondering what size aquare tube you used to make the bracket? Im having a small problem with mine and I think if I spaced it out, it would fit a little bit better.

The square stock was a half inch thick plus the 1/16-1/8 inch thick piece of metal i used. You can pick them up at home depot.

Since the write up my good friend motoman399 has informed me that this is not necessary if you have OEM headlights. only if you have cheap crappy aftermarket headlights like me. I really hate these things and will get OEM further down the road. So if you have OEM headlights they should be direct bolt on. please let me know with pictures if this is not the case.

Yea, mine are oem and fit well before I got my body kit but with the body kit, they sit a little higher so I am going to have to make some mounting plates no matter what. thanks for the help

Wouldnt you rather try adjusting the body kit? Sounds to me that if everything fit fine before the body kit then the front bumper needs adjustment/extra brackets

yea, thats what i tried first but the fiberglass mounts raise the bumper up a hair higher than factory even after I lowered the bumper support as much as possible. I will try and get a pic of what im talking about because its hard to explain but I would have to cut the mounts off the bumper and re fiberglass them on and I dont want to jeopardize the integrity of the bumper if that makes sense

It is a possibility. My pops friend owns a fabrication shop so Im gonna see if he can fab up a tubular bumper support because I would really like to go v mount once I swap it. I am going to try and do things to the best of my ability and not cheap out on this car but it would be sick to have a tube support with lower bar for a bumper brace but who knows yet

***Crappy Update***Not much done on the car this weekend. We got about 7 inches of snow so i had to work all weekend. I should still have plenty of time to have it done by spring. The seibon hood is ordered but they are trying to charge me more since i dont own a shop even though i gave them my buddies shop address. They said since its not the address from paypal they cant use it. So we are still trying to work that out. I will rewire my fans and post a write up one day this week. Other than that I cant decide what coilovers to get. Any suggesttions? Budget is between $600 and $900. I have to get some soon there is a 3 and a half inch gap between the tire and the fender.

I actually got it from the guy that i bought the conversion from. They are all over the internet though. I dont think they work with OEM lights though. I think you have to have the crappy ones like me haha.

Nice! What did you do wreck it? Did you order a whole front clip? let me know what parts you dont use and definatly START A THREAD with that s*** and post pics i gotta see that.

There are those bulbs but to have true HID you have to have ballast kit with it and thats what i have. The kit that comes with a ballast is about 70-80 bucks. At least to my understanding. Otherwise they are just colored bulbs

***UPDATE***The Siebon hood came in yesterday and its perfect. I put it on and i immediatly thought it was hitting something under the hood.

So then i decided to take the latch off and found out that the latch is just way to tight for the CF hood. I am gonna have to replace the spring in it or something. Suggestions would be appreciated. So here are the final fitment results with the headlight brackets and everything finished. it turned out pretty well. Photos looking down at the headlights to show fitment And here is this stupid azz grill that i have no idea what to do with. It doesnt look like it fits at all but maybe thats the way they are supposed to be but i doubt it. Maybe someone can post a pic of theirs. Its not bolted in i would have to make brackets but it doesnt look right at all. And last but not least I found out my hood wire is completely F'ed so gotta replace that FML

Finished product (this is before i took the hood latch off so the hood is a little high)

If you are going to order a hood or something i recommend Projekt racing on ebay. Everytime i called i was immediatly put through to the head guy and they shipped it immediatly. And it came in perfect condition.

hey man all your fitment looks really good. i had a vis on my car and i never had to change the spring on the latch. i just had to adjust it right. the part that goes into the latch is steel not carbon fiber. so you shouldnt have a problem. also i have another hood cable if you want it i could do 20 shipped. email me

oh and you need to get some oem headlights. it would look so clean with a set of jdm or edm lights!! oh and can you do me a favor and take a pic of the underneath side. im curious how it differs from the vis. and wax that hood, keep it clean and not oxidized!

If i take a screw driver and press down with all my might i can barely latch it. I oiled it and it got a little better but its def not like it should. i know the part is metal but still i think it would damage the top by pressing on it.

I KNOW I HATE THESE EFFING head lights. Coilovers take precedent over new headlights but hopfully i can find some somewhere later in the year. And dont worry she STAYS in the garage except when i take it out on weekends and stuff so the hood will be well cared for. Ill let you know about the latch cable. Post a pic of the underside later tonight

ya it sounds like your latch is partially seized. it should not be that hard. maybe you can take it apart and lube it up. mine was pretty easy. i think if you put a weaker spring in there it would compromise the strength of the latch. dont want you $500+ hood flying up.

you know what you can do instead of buying a hood cable. you can hood up a solenoid that pulls the cable when you either push a button or you can wire it to an alarm and have it as a spare channel (like a trunk pop) thats what my plan is. or you can just by my cable lol

wish i had the funds to get coilovers im hella jealous. your car is coming along nicely. if and when you get new lights. look on the UK ebay. i got mine on there for a really good price. and the are the same look as the jdm but more baller.

and whats up with your grill? is it oem or is it a fake? i can take pics of my oem grill if you want. if you think it would help you out. also i have two spare clips for the grill if you need them.

The latch wont be a problem ill figure something out. The grill is some cf POS i got with the front end. Everything was so cheap i just grabbed it all. I figured i would slowly get the stuff i wanted over time and i will.

Yea take a pick of the fitment and whether or not it is flush with the front of the headlights. If it is supposed to be that grill is WAY to small. i doubt the OEM clips would even work on that grill. It doesnt look bad unless your eye level with it and then there is about a one inch gap.

Heres the pics...

Thanks man and i totally agree on the grill. Im debating on what to do about the grill. I want one of those plain mesh ones but the ones ive found are a little pricey. Yours looks good and i might go that route but i wanna think it over first. Im gonna rock it how it is for a while although i am open for suggestions.

And no...hood pins are gay and im not drilling into a hood i just payed 500 dollars for. Its not a High speed test run car its a car whos ECU electronically limits the speed to 125. Thanks for the suggestion though.
