Of course ... "plausible deniability" at its bestest!

Actually, I am indeed opposed to the McCain campaign running any ad like that. Biden did plagiarize and he admitted it (if you believe there was prior credit, you can continue to live in denial) and apologized for it. For both (a) it is old news and (b) he apologized, I am totally willing to drop that old issue.
Plus, it has absolutely no bearing on this current, vicious personal attack on Palin (and her daughter for crying out loud). It will backfire on Obama in a hurry.

I am glad that you think they are happy - I want the DNC to stay in blissful ignorance.
But, I doubt that they are happy ... because I think selecting Palin has given McCain an interesting edge: he is not hung up about showing people that he wants REAL change and has brought on a person who has demonstrated that clearly in the past two years. Not the fake words spouted by Obama and not the fake Washington, decades-long, "more of the same" politician that Biden is.
Once the country recognizes this, it will be all over for the Democrats. IMHO anyway. BTW, I was a fence-sitter, but I am now strongly leaning towards McCain-Palin. The more I read about Palin, the more I am impressed - she is showing herself clearly to be the clean, ethical, non-politician, wants-to-do-right person that I want in that office.
